Book this tour for your first day in Dublin, and you won’t regret it. You will not only learn about local specialties, but so much more. The history, storytelling, and recommendations that our guide made were all well worth the price. And did I mention the food? It was all perfectly delicious. You won’t need to have dinner that night and you should eat a light breakfast before you go. It’s a substantial amount of food and drink. Granha (sorry, likely butchered her name), was delightful and super knowledgeable. I highly recommend this tour.
Thank you so much for joining me Mark, and for your fantastic feedback. I really do appreciate your taking the time to tell everyone about your experience with Flavour Trails.
Lara was amazing. Very personable and knowledgeable about Ireland history and food recommendations. All of the food stops were were thought out and the food was delicious l. The special of making the Irish coffee was so cool.
Thank you so much for this fantastic feedback and for joining us on the the Irish Food Trail. Lara will be delighted!
Lara was an excellent, humorous, kind, knowledgeable tour guide! This tour was at a relaxing pace, sitting down at three different cozy pubs and trying delicious Irish food. Would recommend this to anyone looking for a food tour in Dublin!

Lara was a very amicable food tour guide. I enjoyed listening to her deep knowledge of Irish history. She made every minute of the tour entertaining and the places she brought us to eat were delicious.
Thank you for your delicious review Raul, Lara tells me you are SO lovely. She is delighted with you feedback!
We had the best time we learned so much about Dublin and the whiskey and the meat in the cows and the sheep’s and I could not believe how intelligent our guide was she was absolutely unbelievable. I would come back and use her over and over and over she is a 10+10+10 highly recommend Gráinne Lawlor she was absolutely fantastic if I was here longer I’d do another trip with her.
Kathi you are so kind, it was a pleasure to host yourself and Zen. I hope you have a fabulous time in Cork and Waterford. Safe Travels!
This tour was fantastic! My partner eats and drinks everything, while I am a vegetarian. It was delicious for both of us, and we got to experience a different side of Dublin. Our guide was fantastic, but I can't remember his name.
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave this fab review! We are so glad you enjoyed the tour!
Wow this food and drink tour was fantastic! Firstly and most importantly we want to say how fantastically amazing Lara was! She was so attentive, friendly, super knowledgeable, a giggle to be with and she truly made this tour so wonderful! The places we visited were brilliant, we would have never strolled into a couple of these places on our own, and wow true gems! The food and drink we had was super delicious! Highly recommend this tour when visiting Dublin!
Hi Katie, thank you so much! You are so good and I really appreciate you leaving such a fantastic review. It was great to meet you all and I hope you had a great few days in Dublin. See you again soon!
She did not disappoint! Not only giving her personal favorites on the tour but also giving recommendations once the tour is over! She is truly connected with her culture and community. She talked to everyone once we entered the food location!
Thanks so much Logan, for leaving such an amazing review! We really appreciate it and I am so glad you enjoyed the tour and hope you are putting those recommendations to good use! Have a great remainder of your trip to Ireland and see you again soon!
I booked a tour for 4 people and was really excited about it after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. At a cost of £332 for 4 people I had pledged a bit of faith to the experience. Although I wasn’t massively let down I did feel under-whelmed by the experience. To me a 3-course meal is by definition a starter, a main and a desert. We felt it was more of a snack, a starter and 2 funsize sweets. Drinks wise we had half a pint of beer, a small glass of wine and an Irish Coffee - again fairly disappointing considering the ‘hype’ The tour guide, Ray, was great. He held the groups attention well and was full of local and national knowledge. I can only rate this 3/5 due to poor food/drink portions/standards (but it is a food/drink tour) but I can’t find fault with the guide.
Thank you for your feedback, you paid €95pp and Viator took 27% commission. You received a full 3 course meal with drinks at each stop and an Irish coffee making experience all guided by a fully qualified national tour guide. I’m sorry it didn’t meet your expectations. Dublin is one of the most expensive cities in Europe so costs are relative as are portion sizes. Most people comment that they can’t finish the food, it is very difficult to please everyone but we are delighted you enjoyed your guide.
