Description

We had an outstanding experience at the Irish Whiskey Museum with Andrew as our guide. He brought so much fun and personality to the tour, and his storytelling made the history feel lively and easy to follow. The whole experience was enjoyable, informative, and paced in a way that kept us fully engaged from start to finish. It became a surprising highlight of our time in Dublin. The tasting was well structured, the explanations were clear, and Andrew made the group feel comfortable and involved. We left feeling like we actually understood Irish whiskey rather than just sampling it. We definitely recommend this tour. It delivers great energy, great information, and a guide who knows how to make the experience memorable.
Great tour, plenty of interesting history! Lydia was a wonderful and knowledgable guide.
I really enjoy this museum, Karen was so funny and I learnt many new things about whisky. Thank you.
We had a really great time with Andrew, his tour was wonderful and the tasting was amazing. I recommend to visit the whisky museum 100% 👍🏻
Colm was hilarious… Great tour and learnt a lot.
Great experience with Daniel learning about the history of whiskey making. From Poitín, to Uisce beatha. And how to bury your Poitín in a barrel to hide from the English tax collectors. And finally had an excellent tasting flight with some top notch whiskeys.
Thank you for your wonderful review. We’re delighted to hear you had such a great experience with Daniel and enjoyed learning about the fascinating history of Irish whiskey. It’s fantastic that the storytelling, from Poitín to Uisce beatha, brought the history to life for you. We’re also pleased that you enjoyed the tasting flight and had the chance to sample some excellent whiskeys. We hope to welcome you back to the Irish Whiskey Museum again soon.
Karen our guide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, we enjoyed the history of whiskey and of course the tasting and the little glass souvenir is a bonus
Thank you for your lovely review. We're delighted to hear that Karen made your visit both informative and entertaining. It's great to know you enjoyed learning about the history of Irish whiskey, as well as the tasting experience. We're also glad the souvenir glass was a nice extra touch. We hope to welcome you back to the Irish Whiskey Museum again in the future.
Calum is very friendly! A nice tour if you really have to do the premium version, which 5€ has never killed anyone and they give you a small glass.
Great tour. Very informative. Andrew our tour guide was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and kept us engaged throughout
Thank you for your kind review. We're delighted to hear you enjoyed the tour and found it informative. It's wonderful to know that Andrew helped make your visit memorable with his knowledge and engaging presentation. We’ll be sure to pass along your compliments to him. We hope to welcome you back to the Irish Whiskey Museum again soon.
This really isn’t a “museum”, disappointingly. A guide tells you a rough overview of whiskey and irelands role with it, plus some provides a small tasting. The difference between the standard and premium tours was the premium received an extra sample. The “tour” itself was fine but a little strange. We were taken to several rooms during and they played videos that kinda gave some info, but our guide was filling in most of it. Our guide, Matt, was great and really friendly! I just wish he could’ve just talked with us instead of having the company rely on videos. there was one cheap jump scare that kinda made the “tour” seem hokey. Overall, it was ok, not the best alcohol tour we’ve been on, not the worst.
Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the experience didn’t fully meet your expectations and that the format of the tour wasn’t quite what you were hoping for. We appreciate your comments regarding the balance between the guided storytelling and the video elements, and we will pass this on to the team for review. We’re very pleased to hear that Matt made a positive impression with his friendliness and knowledge, and we’ll be sure to share your kind words with him. Thank you again for your honest feedback.
