Definite 5 stars for all of us! Tree was a fabulous guide, personable, informative, and a good story teller! We all enjoyed the food, with varied results of our top 3 so those were great choices:) We enjoyed being able to ask questions, making it seem more personalized. We ended right at 3 hrs, happy and full!

Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the area and history of each place we visited. Worth the time and money.
Hi Anita, Thank you for taking the time to share your experience!
We have done a lot of food and drink tours around the world, and this has been our least favorite so far. I believe the main issue was with the group size as 12 felt like we were always in the way of other people, hard to move as a big group, and difficult to seat at restaurants. The tour guide also wore a headset and speaker which drew unneeded attention while walking about. Also embarrassingly used it inside of restaurants too, which clearly annoyed other patrons. Gave the local history while walking but with the speaker in front of her so only the front 2-3 people on tour (and passing bystanders) could hear. We did enjoy most of the food stops though, except for the 4th which was just a hotel lobby where the Mac&cheese bites were terrible and pretzel sticks were a miss. There didn’t appear to be any reason for this stop except that it was conveniently on the route. The best tours we’ve done in the past have all had eight or fewer people, food was always ordered ahead of time with tables ready when we arrived, and always felt more like hanging out with a local friend who was showing us around. This tour felt like the commercialized opposite of that, full of cringe and embarrassment. It was definitely memorable, but not in a good way.
Hi Robert, Thank you for your honest and detailed feedback. We’re truly sorry the experience didn’t meet your expectations. We’ve hosted thousands of guests over the years and received more than 400 five-star reviews, so we’re genuinely trying to understand why your experience felt so different from what most guests report. Our guides normally do not use headsets. In this case, the guide temporarily used one because she had lost her voice and needed a way to be heard without straining further. In our experience, a group size of around 12 guests creates the most personal and enjoyable experience, allowing for better interaction and flow between stops. Your comments about group size, pacing, and the restaurant stop that missed the mark are being taken seriously and shared with our team. Our goal is always to create an experience that feels personal, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated. We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback.
