Des robots jockeys télécommandés de la taille d'un tout-petit, vêtus de soies de course colorées, ravissent les habitants et les touristes, alors qu'ils chevauchent les mammifères dégingandés sur la piste sablonneuse. Les chameaux de course peuvent courir à des vitesses allant jusqu'à 40 mph lors de courts sprints et peuvent continuer à 30 mph pendant une heure. L'opérateur applique l'antenne fouet, ordonne au jockey de tirer sur les rênes et crie des encouragements au chameau via un haut-parleur intégré.
Les ruines en ruine du fort de Zekreet semblent anciennes, mais le site a été construit il y a seulement 200 ans, peut-être par le chef pirate Raḥmah ibn Jābir al-Jalāhimah. Il n’a été utilisé que pendant une ou deux décennies. Visitez le fort de Zekreet pour voir comment le soleil, le sable, les vents et les pluies occasionnelles du Qatar ont réduit la structure à l’ébauche de l’ancienne fortification. Promenez-vous autour de la forme carrée typique du fort. A noter ses tours d'angle dont trois de forme circulaire et une carrée.

It was a very pleasant experience with Rehan to the camel racetrack, sand sculptures... The explanations were very good and interesting. Finally, a sweet milk spice tea! Fine!
I went to the west coast of Qatar. We looked around at natural strange rocks, robots practicing camel racing, modern art and beaches. The guide is very attentive 👍. My guide told me that the Japanese only smile and say yes. It's better to say clearly what's wrong or what you don't like.
This was a very interesting tour and a good way to see parts of Qatar beyond the city of Doha. We had a small group (myself, the driver, and two others) so were able to have some conversation and listen to music to pass the time to the drive out west and back. The desert is really beautiful in its starkness - such a contrast to Doha and well worth the visit! Rehan was also an excellent guide - he quite literally took me by the hand to make sure that I could explore the rock formations safely. The trip was as-promised around four hours round-trip, including a quick stop for karak chai. If you're looking to get out of the city, I highly recommend this tour.
