Expérience culinaire chez un habitant de Stresa avec Show Cooking

I highly recommend this experience with your family or couple. We got ourselves to their home and they helped us get a taxi back- definitely try to figure out your rides to:from because it’s not easy to get taxi or uber in Stressa area. The experience was so great. We were welcomed into their home kitchen and we learned to make gnocchi and zucchini flowers for appetizer. Our host spoke English very well as our Italian is just ok. We had a true Italian dining experience and enjoyed a delicious dessert with coffee and limoncello. What a treat!! Definitely book this excursion. You won’t be disappointed!!

Gabriella & her husband were very prepared and opened their home for an excellent cooking experience. We prepared pesto gnocchi and bruschetta and enjoyed other delicious Italian food such as homemade sourdough bread. They were so easy to be with and we LOVED the experience!

This was an incredible experience to cook in someones private home. We were served delicious food and drink and the couple doing it were lovely.

What a special experience! This was a blend of authentic, delicious food; hands-on cooking; and joyful companionship. Gabriella and her husband treated us like dear friends from the moment we arrived. Their home was compact, but delightful. It has been in Gabriella’s family for generations. We first sat on the balcony surrounded by Gabriella’s potted herbs, enjoying the view and an aperitivo. We came inside when it was time to help Gabriella make the gnocchi. She guided us through the process and made us feel successful even though our gnocchi were nothing as beautiful as hers. When we sat down at the table, we enjoyed Italian wine with our four courses, each of which was delicious. The Tiramisu for dessert was unlike any we had ever had. It was flavorful and light, a traditional recipe. We left full and happy, with a list of area recommendations and a handful of recipes that Gabriella generously shared with us. We highly recommend this for a couple or friends. I can’t envision this as an experience kids would appreciate, unless it is an older kid who is really into cooking and food. To us the experience was worth every penny and then some.

This was a small group, just us 4 in someone’s apartment. The hostess was quite friendly and very welcoming. Definitely worthwhile!

Gabriella and her husband were such terrific Italian hosts and chefs!! They welcomed us into their home, let us help make gonnioch, shared drinks and talked about Italy! It was such a relaxed and friendly time -well worth it!! Thanks to them - it made our trip better!
