La ville de Dingle et la magnifique péninsule de Dingle. En quittant Killarney, nous traverserons le village de Castlemaine, la maison du Wild Colonial Boy, un bushranger du début de l'Australie coloniale. Admirez la vue sur la plage de renommée mondiale et admirez les vagues de l'Atlantique préférées des surfeurs, puis dirigez-vous vers la ville de Dingle pour un café, une promenade pour faire du shopping et faire du tourisme. Ensuite, nous partons faire un tour de la péninsule, en nous arrêtant à la ferme de moutons d'Aidan et en voyant la scène d'ouverture du film Far and Away avec Tom Cruise et Nicole Kidman, puis nous nous arrêtons où vous voulez, peut-être le centre de l'île Blasket, La poterie Louis Mulcahy, la plage de Clogher offrant une vue imprenable sur l'Atlantique sauvage, ou peut-être l'oratoire de Gallarus, une église du VIe siècle entièrement en pierre ressemblant à un bateau renversé. Ensuite, nous retournons à Dingle pour un coup d'œil dans les pubs locaux et quelques rafraîchissements. Quoi que vous souhaitiez, je concevrai la journée autour de ce que vous aimeriez faire. En arrivant à Killarney, dans la ville de Dingle, nous allons prendre un café, nous promener dans Dingle, faire un peu de shopping, puis nous nous promenons dans la célèbre péninsule de Dingle. Nous nous arrêterons pour rencontrer Aidan, un éleveur de moutons local. Au printemps et en été, il y a généralement des agneaux à tenir et à nourrir. Aidan a d'anciennes huttes Bee Hive sur la terre, une colonie irlandaise vieille de 2000 ans. Nous continuons à faire le tour de la péninsule en nous arrêtant pour prendre des photos et à des endroits intéressants. Ensuite, nous retournons à Dingle pour un repas, des visites touristiques et peut-être une bière!

My mom and I had a beautiful day touring Dingle! Our driver, Joe, had a wonderful full day itinerary for us which included a stop at the Torc waterfall, Inch beach, a few stops along Slea head, the lambs (per my mom’s request!) and at a lovely cafe in Dingle for some tea and delicious scones. Joe was very knowledgeable and ensured we had a great time.

So glad we chose this trip. Neither of us like driving so this was perfect. We stopped at a BEEHIVE hut and Dingle town...such amazing views! The driver Joe was so kind and helpful, He explained things and told us of history. We were behind a bus on the narrow road and a car had to back up which took a while but gave us some spectacular views!

Fantastic drive around Slea Head and the Dingle Peninsula with knowledgeable commentary on the history (modern and ancient), cultural and political contexts, and key figures related to the area. We really enjoyed our day thoroughly and while I've driven the Dingle Peninsula several times over the years, it was a refreshing experience to sit back and relish the views while someone else took the wheel. Pick up was straightforward. Communication was clear and responsive. Our guide was knowledgeable and fun with a good sense of humor. Very personable guy whose conversation made the spectacular scenery and sights of the day even more enjoyable!
