This a wonderful experience. You get to see the museum of Boca Jr and River Plate. Not just that, but also see both stadiums. Although I would recommend that you understand Spanish (dont have to be fluent). Lucky for me, it wasnt an issue. Diego was a wonderful guide. He added an extra activity where he showed me around the famous streets of La Boca (near Boca Jr Stadium). He also gives you facts about other attactions that you pass along the way. I was picked up from my hotel :) 10/10 recommend
My Dad and I did the 'Two Stadiums - Boca and River Tour'. There were only the two of us and our host Diego, I am not sure if this was by design or due to lack of uptake but overall it made for a much more personalised experience. We were picked up from our accommodation by our guide Diego in his car and driven to and between both Stadiums. Boca first then River. Diego was very knowledgeable and gave us great insights on the various areas of Buenos Aires that we passed through as well as Argentine history in general. At both Stadiums we did the museum tour (River's is much more professionally set up than Boca!) which including access to the stadiums themselves. Diego was great at translating and giving us insights into the history and culture of both clubs, as both clubs have their museums/tours in Spanish only. In La Boca we walked around parts of the local area, where Diego told us about the culture of the area and the history. At River, unlike Boca, you have to tag onto the official club tour for Stadium access, but it was great to have Diego on hand to help us navigate and translate the tour. The tour lasts about 5-6 hours by the time you travel to and between each stadium so bringing your own food/refreshments is definitely advised! Also you get the time/location quite late the day before so don't panic! Diego was a great guy and we enjoyed spending time with him. We would definitely recommend this tour to anyone interested in Argentine football or culture.
Pablo gave us a very complete tour of both stadiums and surroundings. The walk was very good but Pablo's attention and willingness made it a great experience.
