Imaginez descendre en rappel des cascades dans une vallée de forêt tropicale privée sur la célèbre route de Hana. Qu'est-ce que le rappel ? Sous la supervision et les instructions de guides experts, vous utiliserez un équipement professionnel pour descendre dans la nature dans le lieu de Maui présenté dans le film Jurassic Park. Idéal pour les familles actives, les couples, les groupes et les voyageurs en solo qui apprécient les excursions dynamiques en plein air. Âge minimum de 10 ans ; poids minimum de 70 livres, poids maximum de 250 livres et tour de taille entre 22 et 48 pouces. Tout l'équipement (y compris les chaussures) est fourni. PLEIN OU TEMPS : Nous allons dans la forêt tropicale. Les chutes d'eau sont des phénomènes naturels qui changent rapidement à tout moment. Lorsque les ruisseaux débordent à cause de la pluie et que les chutes rugissent ou gonflent, et que nous ne pouvons pas descendre en rappel en toute sécurité une ou les deux cascades, nous descendons en rappel des chutes de 40 à 115 pieds depuis les falaises de la jungle à une distance sûre du cours d'eau.

Oh my gosh. It's been a while since I've written a TripAdvisor review but this one feels necessary. We went as a family of 4 (two adults, kids ages 11 and 13), after deciding this would be more unique than another zipline excursion. And it really was. Just seeing these big flowing waterfalls would have been cool, but wow, the experience of rapelling down them was top notch. I was a little scared but the guides made us feel safe and coached technique to help. Swimming in the pools at the bottom of the waterfalls was exhilerating. The guides (Shauna and Alba) were also wonderful at pointing out plant life, letting us taste things as we hiked out, and generally just being awesome women. Would not hesitate to recommend this tour if you've got an adventurous crew and are looking for something to do beyond the snorkeling and ziplining and horseback riding that you can do on so many other islands!

My wife and I both did the repel Maui and we had a great time. Our instructors Albat and Deacon were amazing. They were great teachers and made it so much fun and made sure we were safe the entire time and give us the most out of the Experience.

This was the highlight of our trip to Maui! We have two kids, 13 & 15, and they absolutely loved it as well! It was a bit scary at first, but Elena and Deacon did a thorough job of explaining everything from start to finish. It was fun going down the waterfalls and refreshing jumping into the water at the base. If you are traveling to Maui (or traveling the road to Hana) I highly recommend this!!

If you’re looking for a real adventure, this is it! This is not a casual sightseeing excursion—it’s a legitimate rappelling experience. You complete three rappels total, including two down waterfalls. I do wish they had done a better job preparing us at the beginning for what to expect. At the end of both waterfall rappels, you actually let go of the rope and drop into the water below. I’m a pretty adventurous person, and even I was a little nervous! One disappointment was that there wasn’t a photographer on our tour day. We were really looking forward to having professional photos of such a unique experience. Also, be prepared for the hike back up after the rappels. It’s definitely a workout, and a few people in our group needed to stop and catch their breath several times. Our guides were nice and kept everyone safe, but I think a more thorough orientation would have made the experience even better. One important tip: download your entry pass before arriving at the botanical gardens. There is virtually no cell service or internet, and they almost charged us an additional $20 per person because we couldn’t pull up our reservation. Overall, it was an adventure and something I’m glad I did. Just come prepared, know what you’re signing up for, and you’ll have an amazing experience!

And as for that "trust fall" into the pools at the end of the waterfalls—we like to think it's the most refreshing finish line in Maui! And yes... the hike back out definitely earns you those post-adventure snacks! We like to joke that the climb is just nature's way of making you appreciate the waterfalls even more. That's a fantastic tip for future guests, and we couldn't agree more—downloading it before arriving makes check-in much smoother since cell service is very limited along the Hana Highway. All of that info is in the e-mail we send out when your reservation is made. While we don't have a photographer on staff at this time, we absolutely encourage guests to capture their own adventure! You're welcome to bring your phone (we provide a dry canteen and backpack to carry). We even have GoPro helmet mounts available for guests to borrow. It's a fun way to relive the experience and share your adventure! We're so glad you stepped outside your comfort zone and are happy you chose to adventure with us. This was one of our favorite adventures in Maui and by far the best part of the Road to Hana! Shauna and Deacon were knowledgeable, skilled, and fun guides/instructors. We felt safe, supported, and had tons of fun seeing parts of Maui's landscape that few get to explore and swim in!
