Ce n'est pas n'importe quelle visite : c'est une occasion unique de découvrir La Palma à travers un itinéraire personnellement conçu par Basso Lanzone, guide officiel avec des années d'expérience dans les îles Canaries. Chaque arrêt a été choisi pour mettre en valeur les aspects les plus authentiques et les plus spectaculaires de l'île en une seule journée. Nous commençons par visiter sa charmante capitale, Santa Cruz de La Palma, avec ses rues coloniales, ses balcons en bois et son atmosphère unique. De là, nous monterons jusqu'au point de vue de La Cumbrecita dans le parc national de la Caldera de Taburiente pour profiter de vues à couper le souffle. Le moment le plus impressionnant arrive à Tacande, où nous nous approcherons du volcan Tajogaite (Cumbre Vieja), né le 19 septembre 2021, en parcourant la route construite sur la lave. Vous verrez de vos propres yeux la puissance de la nature et la zone où un quartier entier a disparu.

Itinéraire
Le ferry quitte le port de Los Cristianos pour Santa Cruz de La Palma à 8h30.
Le premier arrêt sera dans la capitale, où vous aurez du temps libre (environ 30 minutes), afin de découvrir certains des lieux les plus emblématiques tels que : Le navire de la Vierge, C'est une reproduction de la Santa María à bord de laquelle Christophe Colomb a découvert l'Amérique et a été construit à la mémoire des marins de palmiers qui sont partis d'ici avec des voiliers fabriqués à partir du bois de nos montagnes. A l'intérieur se trouve le musée naval avec des cartes marines et des reproductions de certains de ces navires fabriqués sur l'île. Le château de Santa Catalina, qui était l'un des plus importants d'Espagne sur la route des Amériques. Les balcons typiques qui constituent l'un des meilleurs ensembles de balcons ou de surplombs conservés aux îles Canaries. Mettez en valeur les doubles balcons qui ont été construits pour ventiler les maisons.
Nous ferons un arrêt pour voir ce paysage protégé et observer la capitale depuis le cratère du volcan La Caldereta.
Le prochain arrêt sera dans la zone d'exclusion du quartier de Tacande où vous aurez une première vue sur le volcan, puis vous irez à Tazacorte, en voyant les plus jeunes coulées de lave d'Espagne.
Nous nous arrêterons au point de vue de Tajuya pour observer le volcan Cumbre Vieja né le 19 septembre 2021, qui a détruit plus de 1 000 maisons lors de son éruption. Cet endroit a été utilisé par la presse du monde entier pour enregistrer la dernière éruption des îles Canaries.
Le ferry part de Santa Cruz de La Palma pour le port de Los Cristianos (Tenerife) à 17h00.

The weather wasn't the best on the day, but we still got some great views, particularly of the volcano and lava flow. We were going to have a coffee at a market but it was closed, and we were left to our own devices in a not particularly interesting part of the island while we waited for the bus to arrive. Also, where we stopped for lunch was just near a supermarket with not much to see. A good day out and I enjoyed it, but it could have been better.

A 9 km round walk, being the first part in descent to reach the closest part to the 5 craters that opened during the last eruption. Wonderful views and a blend of feelings between the sadness of destruction and the beauty of nature's struggle to stay alive in the ashes.

I took this tour in March 2025. The views were amazing. I had enough time to visit these beautiful places. I would recommend this tour to anyone.
Great day out despite the early start and a little sea sickness on the way. That was odd because the sea conditions both ways looked similar, but on the outbound journey we experienced significantly more movement of the ship. From then on all great: organisation, views, pace, guide, driver, bus and late lunch stop. Persuaded us to come back to la Palma for a much longer visit. One thing i did note was that the maximum participants was stated to be 59. Our trip had around 20 and I suspect that significantly more people would adversely impact the experience.

Definitely a super recommended experience to know a piece of the palm and what happened and the consequences of the Volcan Tajogaite, both the driver and the guide (Rosi) super friendly and open to any questions! We also enjoy a good meal with your good potatoes! Highly recommended!

Rosa our guide was very knowledgeable and concise. The tour and the emotion she conveyed made for a great tour. Would have liked more time in Santa Cruz and maybe seen where the lava flow actually reached the sea but maybe we may have missed other parts. Worth the trip.
The volcano and all the lava. Amazed that it made so much damage to the surroundings. The guide was very good. She could talk 4 different languages. But 2 had been enough. But she explained very good what we saw and experienced during the trip.
