Depuis Lisbonne : tour petit groupe à Tomar et chez les Templiers
Description
Cette excursion au départ de Lisbonne en petit groupe commence par une aventure sur l'Aqueduc dos Pegões, un édifice vertigineux situé en dehors de la ville. Nous visiterons ensuite le Couvent du Christ, un monument à l'architecture somptueuse dominant la ville et occupé par les Templiers. Après un déjeuner permettant de goûter à la gastronomie locale, nous nous promènerons à pied dans la ville de Tomar pour apprécier son calme et sa douceur de vivre, ses ruelles et je vous expliquerai son incroyable histoire lié aux Tabuleiros répartis dans la ville !!! Cette visite culturelle hors des sentiers battus se terminera par un temps libre dans la vieille ville sans oublier de faire une photo souvenir devant TOMAR.

Itinéraire
Vue extérieur de cet incroyable aqueduc dont sa hauteur atteint 30 mètres de hauteur. Pour les personnes qui n'ont pas le vertige, nous pourrons nous aventurer sur l'aqueduc jusqu'en son milieu.
Nous admirerons le Couvent du Christ classé à l'UNESCO ainsi que la superbe vue sur Tomar depuis les ramparts. Puis nous visiterons l'intérieur du Couvent (prix non inclus : 15€/personne) où je vous expliquerai les différentes étapes de construction de ce monument, dont sa somptueuse Charola et sa fenêtre Manuéline.
Déjeuner dans un restaurant local pour déguster la cuisine portugaise.
Observation des différents détails et monuments de la place (mairie, église, statue), puis visite du centre-ville et promenade le long de la rivière Nabao.
Temps libre pour découvrir à votre rythme la vie locale, les boutiques, les cafés.

An essential detour; if you like history and architecture, it is a must-see. Trip done on foot, it is worth it if your health allows it, otherwise you can get there with the guide and their vehicle. An exceptional, friendly guide who masters their subject, is flexible, and adjusts to the needs of their travelers. Since you are in Tomar, the city is also a place worth visiting; our guide helped us discover a small café/pastry shop that is worth it. In short, an incredible experience and guide.

A wonderful day trip to Tomar to visit the Castle ruins and The Convent of Christ complex. It is a truly magnificent complex to walk around. It is also worth noting that a walk around the actual town of Tomar is highly recommended to understand more if the history of Tomar. João, our guide provided a great deal of information of Tomar and made the trip worthwhile.

Jean-Rémi was our tour guide and he was very accommodating and informative. We ended up with a private tour as it was only the two of us and he did a great job. We were able to see all the Knight Templar sites and made several interesting stops on the way. We will definitely be back to see the rest of Portugal.
