Superb experience with a great team and breathtaking landscapes.
We booked the 3 days / 2 nights Ha Giang Loop tour through TripBestie and can absolutely recommend it. TripBestie acts as the organizer and takes care of the entire process – from the transfers to the communication before and during the tour. The flow of information was excellent and everything went completely smoothly: the transfer from Ha Long to Ha Giang (other pick-up locations are also possible), the tour itself, and afterwards the transfer to Sa Pa (other drop-off locations are possible as well). Whenever something was unclear or we had additional questions, we always received a very quick and helpful response. The tour itself is absolutely incredible – if you are in Vietnam, this is definitely something you should do! Our crew from Hong Hao with Justin as our guide was amazing and we had so much fun together. All the drivers were very experienced, drove safely, and made us feel comfortable and well taken care of at all times. Justin was my easy rider and I felt safe and comfortable the entire time – a huge thank you again at this point! The only thing you really start to notice by day three is your sore butt 😄 A seat cushion is definitely worth considering. PS: My boyfriend is an experienced motorbike rider and drove the tour himself in the same group. The recommendation to only self-drive if you are truly experienced should definitely be taken seriously. Parts of the route are quite challenging: not all roads are paved and there are potholes, loose rocks, and some short sections that can be muddy and slippery. If you are unsure, choosing an easy rider is definitely the better option. Overall, the entire organization was excellent and the tour was an absolute highlight of our trip to Vietnam. We would book through TripBestie again anytime and hope they continue working together with Hong Hao!
