La magnifique petite île de la mer du Sud est l’un des trésors des îles Mamanuca. Des eaux cristallines, des récifs coralliens et des milliers de poissons tropicaux colorés entourent cette île minuscule. La croisière d'une demi-journée à destination de South Sea Island est parfaite pour ceux qui n'ont pas beaucoup de temps à perdre mais qui souhaitent néanmoins goûter à la "vraie Fidji". Cette fantastique croisière vous permettra d'explorer l'une des îles Mamanuca les plus mignonnes de Fidji et d'entrer dans le «temps des îles». Comme l'île est à seulement 30 minutes de Denarau, vous aurez le temps de faire de nombreuses activités sur l'île et de rencontrer le sympathique Fidjien à terre.

Une demi-journée à South Sea Island est un trajet facile de 30 minutes en ferry. Parfait pour ceux qui n'ont pas beaucoup de temps à perdre, mais qui veulent tout de même goûter au « vrai Fidji ». Cette croisière fantastique signifie que vous pourrez explorer l'une des îles Mamanuca les plus mignonnes des Fidji et entrer dans "l'heure de l'île". L'île sera à vous pour le reste de la journée jusqu'à ce que le catamaran arrive vers 17h30 pour vous ramener à Port Denarau. Les transferts de retour vers certains hôtels / complexes de la région de Nadi, Denarau et Wailoaloa sont inclus s'ils sont réservés à l'avance.
Un transfert en autocar gratuit est fourni pour cette visite depuis certains hôtels/resrts Nadi, Denarau et la région de Wailoaloa. Des autocars climatisés viendront vous chercher aux points de prise en charge désignés environ 75 minutes avant l'heure de départ. Vous devrez ensuite vous enregistrer au comptoir d'enregistrement de South Sea Cruises. Veuillez garder vos numéros de bon ou votre confirmation électronique à disposition lorsque vous êtes au guichet. Notre charmant personnel de South Sea Cruises avec un grand sourire Bula vous fournira ensuite votre carte d'embarquement pour le catamaran. Nos catamarans modernes disposent de salons climatisés, de ponts d'observation extérieurs et de bars sous licence, ce qui signifie que vous vous sentirez en vacances, même en route vers votre escapade sur l'île.

Although there is a guided snorkel by boat, the best snorkeling is from the beach where the yellow markers are in the water. We were surrounded by a variety of fish, close to the coral, great visibility!

Next time I would buy the ticket locally as it’s much cheaper, the folks on the island are wonderful, although don’t expect much from the BBQ buffet lol, meat was cold but otherwise it filled our tummy. Only Fiji beer included and don’t even try the “Flagon” wine 🤢 Unfortunately the day we went there was no sun and totally overcast with constant 20-30 klm wind that made it unbearable and they cancelled all water sports as it was to dangerous, the day was cut short cause of the conditions and we were taken back early and subsequently had no booked transport on the mainland and had to catch a taxi back to the Resort. You can’t beat bad luck with weather conditions and not their fault obviously but it was the worse $340 Aus I’ve ever spent… and my poor wife froze ..

Half day South Sea Island trip with lunch & drinks included, have done this many times before & always great!! Weather was perfect & sea was calm, great for swimming & snorkelling.

Didn't like it. Felt cheap and rationed. Drinks included but dont dare ask for a drink for you and your spouse. Only allowed 30 minutes window for lunch. The feel just not welcoming compared to rest of the activities we experienced. I wont recommend this one.

For clarity, the South Sea Island Half Day Cruise is designed as a structured afternoon island experience, operating from approximately 12:15pm to 6:00pm. Guests are transferred by high-speed catamaran from Port Denarau, followed by a short tender transfer to the island, offering a full afternoon to enjoy the natural surroundings and activities. The experience is inclusive of a BBQ buffet lunch served on your arrival to the island, along with complimentary local beer, house wine, soft drinks, and water available throughout your time on the island. During your visit, guests also have access to a range of included activities such as snorkelling equipment, stand-up paddleboards, kayaks, the saltwater swimming pool, and guided cultural entertainment including a Fijian ‘meke’ performance during lunch (except Sundays). We do note your comments regarding the drinks service and lunch timing. While service is structured to ensure all guests are catered for within the allocated half-day schedule, we understand that perceptions of timing and hospitality can vary, and we sincerely regret if this affected your overall enjoyment. Everything was well organized! The food at lunch was delicious and having free cocktails was a bonus! Remember to bring your own towels and swim shoes are highly recommended, especially with all the rocks and coral.

Great day, food was good , the staff and the dancers were lovely and very friendly. The only downside was not enough sun lounges on the beach .

This island was only a 30 min boat ride from the port. It was a nice to relax on the gorgeous beach, they offer many activities such as glass bottom boat tour, snorkeling tour, and diving. The included lunch was good but it’s only offered for 30 mins so if you’re hungry after that you’re kind of out of luck.

The beach is a little rough. Not really a white sandy beach. Mostly crushed shells and pieces of coral.

South Sea Island does have areas of natural coral and crushed shells along the shoreline naturally it is a coral cay island, which is quite typical for many reef islands in Fiji.
