À seulement 15 minutes du quartier central des affaires du Cap, la vallée de Constantia est l’endroit où le gouverneur néerlandais, Simon van der Stel, a commencé l’industrie vinicole en Afrique du Sud à partir du 17ème siècle. Nous commençons notre visite par le domaine historique et pittoresque de Groot Constantia. Après une brève visite du domaine, nous commençons par une fabuleuse dégustation de vins et une visite de caves entreprises par les viticulteurs du domaine. Nous commençons ensuite notre expérience du cycle des vignobles, en nous déplaçant dans des banlieues verdoyantes et des domaines viticoles pittoresques de la vallée de Constantia. Nous nous arrêtons dans quelques-unes des meilleures fermes viticoles, soigneusement choisies pour leurs vins exceptionnels et leurs magnifiques domaines. Les exploitations viticoles de la région incluent les célèbres Buitenverwachting, Klein Constantia, Constantia Uitsig et Steenberg Estate. Chaque ferme est unique et exquise et nous sommes confiants que vous aurez du mal à choisir un de vos favoris après avoir terminé cette tournée spectaculaire! Found difficult to find this and book online..knew we wanted half day constantia. Didn't find it on trip advisor. Once booked all went wel. V easy cycling on lovely light electric bike. Went to klein constantia and buitenverwachting. Abe, the guide, v attentive Good thing to do if your flight in the evening

The cycle tour was great! We started out with an hour plus bike ride around town (the hills can be challenging) and then stopped at two vineyards for tastings. You need to be in good condition for this tour.

Great Morning riding our bikes surrounded by the splendour of the Cape Winelands. An easy ride for anybody who has ridden a bicycle on road or trail. The e-bikes certainly help you on the hills which are few. Very well organised tour with beautiful views. Highly recommend trip.

My wife and I did a bike tour of Constantia and loved it. The cycling is not very challenging and we enjoyed the leisurely pace as we rode down the winding roads past beautiful estates and vineyards. We stopped at two different wineries and then a place for lunch. We were very lucky to have Matt (the owner) as our guide. He was super knowledgeable and thoughtful.

The company was ready and waiting for us at Groot Constantia. We were shown some of the highlights near the main cellar and from there started our first wine-tasting and cellar tour by a knowledgable winemaker. The cycling was relaxed and easy paced between farms and the wine quality was amazing at each of the farms we visited. We ended with a suberb lunch and were so well looked after by our Guide on the tour. A perfect way to explore this region, thank you!
