I joined the tour on July 12. I was personally convinced that the scenery was fine because I didn't speak English, but that participant didn't understand English and lacked consideration for the participants who couldn't speak English about the meeting time and explanation of the way home. It was a mess without a simple map. I also left without the participants who couldn't make it to the meeting, but I don't know if I made a decision after contacting them and left, but I felt sorry for them for being left in a place they didn't know. It was also the worst tour without any explanation, as there was nowhere to park while going into the parking lot saying I was going to take a toilet break on the way home, so I didn’t stop anywhere until I arrived through.
Good informative guide. Just enough time in Hallstatt. Could have been a little longer in Salzburg. It’s a long journey so be prepared for some time in the bus. Please bring something to eat / drink in the bus. We recommend this trip if you have a whole day to spend on an extra trip.
Great experience. Our tour guide Priscilla was very accommodating and clear on her instructions. She went above and beyond to make sure everyone had a extraordinary time. The bus ride was smooth and the bus was comfortable.
The long ride was not worth the actual short visit we experienced. The bus was not comfortable nor did not have WiFi. They did they offer anything simple like bottled water. Overall would not recommend.
Great experience. This is an all day trip but it’s a must do trip when in Austria. My family and I enjoyed both cities.
Overall it was a beautiful day trip! The scenery was truly breathtaking. The staff was helpful and polite. The bus was very comfortable. But I have to complain they gave us less than hour in Salzburg due to a city event. We couldn’t enjoy the gardens or visit Mozart’s house. We barely had time to buy some to go lunch, buy a few souvenirs and rush back to bus, which was another 15 min walk (within the hour they gave us) It was very disappointing and I wish we had more time to enjoy. It wasn’t pleasant, it was stressful. The Hallstatt visit was beautiful! We enjoyed it more. I wish we had more time in Salzburg than Hallstatt.
It is a long journey. Bring more water with you. Also don't forget the umbrella if you don't want to get wet.
It was a long day ! but would have preferred longer at each destination by an hour or two !
It was a fantastic day trip. Everything was well organized and perfectly operated, seamless from start to finish. The tour was thoughtfully designed in a way to make the best use of time and also allow us to see those amazing sights and spots. The bus was very comfortable and the ride was enjoyable. My trip to Vienna wouldn't have been complete without this tour. Our guides Ottavia and Bashir were excellent. Their knowledge about each destination, suggestions and guidance provided to help us navigate each place, and their kindness extended to everyone of the group is much appreciated.
Poorly organized, not enough information, participants got lost due to lack of clarity, tour guide was not informative causing issues.
