Description

We had an amazing day on the Dolomites tour through Viator. Matteo was an excellent guide—friendly, knowledgeable, organized, and passionate about the region. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and Mateo made sure everyone had a great experience while sharing interesting local history and insights throughout the day. Everything ran smoothly, and we never felt rushed. This was one of the highlights of our trip. Highly recommend this tour, and if you get Matteo as your guide, you're in great hands
The tour company provided excellent info on where to meet them and what to bring. Lunch was not provided but you could buy food or sit down for a meal at the two stops in Cortina and Misurina. Fantastic mountain and lake views, charming alpine towns.
The trip was very organized and informative - a great way to get out of Venice for a day trip and experience the Dolomites. Matteo, our guide, was knowledgeable, funny, and engaging. He shared lots of interesting information and it was obvious he enjoys what he does.
We went with Matteo and Gianpietro and had a great experience. Scenery was beautiful and the places we visited were really nice. Matteo had great knowledge of the area and history and was funny and engaging. We recommend going to the restaurant with Matteo, I personally like the spatzle and prosecco.
Trip was excellent but my friend was ill so coyldnt make it and the company wouldnot give a refund which was u fair.
Wow! A truly memorable and breathtaking experience! Our guide was fun, informative and ensured everyone was happy. An incredible day with my daughter that I’ll always treasure!
Great tour to get away from the busy Venice and explore the calmer nature. Chiara was the best guide we could ask for, from being insightful to helping our party with other Venice planning and going above and beyond. She truly made the trip and experience memorable. For the lunch venue at the lake, it will most likely be Albergo Miralago (which is more Austrian than Italian and has limited non-meat options). Feel free to bring your own lunch as well, which is what we did and allowed us to explore more of the lake (walk the east side which is more shaded and less touristy). Cortina was a fun experience as well, with an hour long stop I recommend trekking away from the touristy shopping area and explore calmer neighborhoods - we stumbled upon a coffee shop at a climbing gym at Cortina360 which had great coffee with wonderful views. The bus ride can be a bit long, but there are bathroom and snack stops at clean places which was much appreciated. Would recommend to book this trip while you’re in Venice!
This was our favorite tour. The scenery is spectacular and beautiful. I had no idea the southern Alps were so close to Venice. I’d love to take this tour again.
Wonderful way to explore the mountains for a day! We were able to visit 3 different locations—enough time in all 3 areas for walking, photos, some exploring and get a taste of what a beautiful area the Dolomites are. Thrilled we took time away from Venice for this day excursion! Would definitely recommend!
Guide was very knowledgeable about the area. The time for each stop location was sufficient and good options were suggested at each stop too.
