Plitvice est connu comme un phénomène naturel car il continue de changer par la sédimentation du carbonate de calcium et crée des types spéciaux d'algues et de mousse, de tuf ou de travertin qui se sont déposés et se déposent encore pour former les barrages naturels qui séparent les lacs. Ivan, aka Sir Richard, was truly a wonderful guide and human shepherd as he joyfully and patiently herded our group through the most beautiful park. With some absolutely breathtaking views, we were so grateful to have gotten a chance to see this national park on our trip to Croatia. The bus ride was so smooth and comfortable from Split. Marco, the driver, did a great job. We appreciated all the stops and pauses for bathrooms and breaks along the way, particularly on such a warm day. Very much worth the day and the money.

We had the most fantastic time in Plitvice lakes with the talented guide Luka; He was both knowledgeable and funny, made sure everyone is on track and made an extraordinary effort to organise a smooth day trip despite a large group. A fantastic experience at the Plitvice Lakes! A truly unforgettable day, made even more special by our guide Luka. We did the Lake Plitvice National Park tour with LUKA. We had an amazing experience with Luka and on the whole. Luka gave us a lot of information not just about the Lakes, but also about Split in terms of the formation, history and lots of other things. The walk throghout the national park was very well organized and Luka also created a WhatsApp group to send important information like meeting times / spots so that everyone knew where to be even if they split from the group. I would highly recommend booking with BOOKER Agency and also recommend Luka as a tout guide!!
