Not a bus tour
This isnt actually a tour bus, its just a bus journey to Lindos.
The driver did say one word the whole journey.
Did not inform us of anything along the way, or about Lindos itself.
Worth the price. Lindos is lovely.

Great day out made better by funny, friendly driver
We were picked up by the friendly and welcoming driver Apostolos, who I would really like to praise, he gave the passengers many laughs and interesting facts about the area and sights we passed on our way to Lindos and back again. He really made the approx. 1 hour journies fly by.
As we expected, we were left to wander Lindos at our leisure with a clear pickup time 4 hours later. Lindos is a lovely beach town with shops, bars and restaurants, plus probably the main draw - the historic architectural site of the Acropolis which is well worth a visit if you can stomach the 300 stairs to get there!

Trip to Lindos with Manosgoing
The driver George was really good, he came on time at the pick up point. The drive was informative as George gave us some history of the villages we passed on the way to Lindos.
Although we booked the 9 hour tour we were done within 4 and we were able to come back with the early group and George sorted it with the office.
Lindos itself was beautiful definitely somewhere to go for a day trip. Walking up the acropolis wasn’t as bad as some have mentioned. We were up and down within 40 minutes. It was a 20€ admission fee but worth the pictures.

Lindos Acropolis
Excellent day out plenty of time to visit the Acropolis and sights around Lindos. Driver was excellent and very friendly, gave a great commentary on all the sights along the way. Highly recommend.

Best tour bus driver ever
Clear communication both from Viator and the tour operator were very helpful. Because we had to be back to our cruise ship before 4:30 it was helpful that our driver moved up the departure from Lindos time to 2:30. We were back to the port by 3:45. Apostolos our driver was delightful. He called us family, made constant jokes throughout the drive, and had a chuckle that was contagious. Exceeded our expectations as a quaint shopping village with gorgeous (but slippery when wet) River rock mosaic sidewalks and store entries. All this at a quarter of the cost of the cruise ship excursion that was similar. My only reason for a 4 instead of a 5 was that it rained the whole day and I didn’t get to swim.

A lovely town to visit
The bus was clean and comfortable. The driver pointed out places of interest along the way. The town was crowded but a lovely whitewashed village of narrow lanes.
Unfortunately it rained the day we went so the sea and sky were both grey and not the splendid, picturesque blues it usually is. Due to the rain we also didn’t go to the beach.
As there were people from a cruise ship on the tour our time at Lindos was cut to 3-1/2 hours instead of 4 in order for them to return to their ship on time. Which doesn’t seem fair to the others. Had the weather been better I would have been really peeved as they should have been able to calculate this before booking.
Be aware that the path to the acropolis is a bit dangerous with no railings, the town also is slippery in the wet. In the time we were there 3 people slipped and hit their heads. The ambulance was busy that day.

Mixed feelings. Lindos is a very cool place to visit but is overly crowded. I couldn’t even walk up to the Acropolis because the line was nuts and not moving, like at all. I got half way up and turned around and walked down after standing still for at least 10 minutes. Town is quaint and fun to wander around but so many people. The bay was not as impressive as I had read about and was not enticed to even get in the water. All in all, I was glad to see it but didn’t even need 3 hours there.

The village is beautiful....
The village is beautiful. We got to swim at St.Paul’s bay, which was awesome. Our driver, Apostolos, is funny & very accommodating. Highly recommended.

Great way to get to Lindos and back
We can highly recommend this bus trip. From start to finish it was well organised and enjoyable. It particular the bus driver was very funny and gave a good commentary on the way to and from Lindos. This is a much more reasonable way to travel to Linda standby taxi which can be very expensive. Pick up and return were precisely on time. We really enjoyed this trip and can highly recommend it.
