De Naples : Excursion à terre à Pompéi pour Croiseurs avec Guide

The group was over 35 people if all ages. Due to this , a few of the people who had some walking issues, missed some of the descriptions. Esthera, our guide, was knowledgeable. She just needs to walk a little bit slower for the large groups. She would have been great for smaller groups.

Very knowledgeable tour, kept it informative but did not overwhelm you with information. Esta (guide) avoided crowded areas despite it being a very busy day

Very interesting and informative trip. Learnt so much as was led by an ex-archaeologist who had had a career working on the site. Would like to go back to see more.

I didn’t realize that the tour would both be in English and Spanish. I was thinking that there would be an English tour and a Spanish tour. It was very hard to to understand the English and then you lost focus when the tour guide was in Spanish. With the switching between both languages, you missed a lot of what was being explained. The tour guide did her best, but would not recommend this tour if it continues to be in both languages.

This destination was a bucket list place to visit. It was my first tour off a cruise ship I've done independently and was apprehensive it'll go well. I need not worry. The communication with the company, pick up point all worked out fine. There was an issue with the bus and we had to wait for another but all sorted and off we went. Our local guide in Pompeii was incredible. He was born and raised around Pompeii and had lots of stories and inside knowledge. It was hot!! Not many places with shade but my goodness it was fascinating. That there is even more still covered is amazing. Walking the same streets and entering houses with beautiful frescos on the wall is incredible. A good 2 and half hours here was a good time. Picked up and dropped back at the ship. Bucket list ticked off

Really impressive guide, Imma,who was an archeologist. This is a must see when visiting Naples. Tour operator with bus was hard to find as our ship wasn't docked close by so we had to power walk for 20 minutes to get to the meeting point. Not impressed with this so if booking off of a cruise, make sure you check Google maps before leaving the ship

We took a bus from the cruise terminal to Pompeii. We had a little difficulty finding the meeting spot and thankfully the tour operator waited for us. We were taken by bus to Pompeii which was about 40 minutes. The tour itself was 2&1/2 hours. Our tour guide was excellent. I cannot recall her name but she was very knowledgeable and made the tour very enjoyable. We asked her to recommend an authentic pizzeria in Naples and we found it without any difficulty and it was the best Margarita pizza we have ever had. For the excursion in Pompeii I would recommend good walking shoes and a bottle for water. There were free fountains inside the ruins to refill water bottle. I would recommend this tour.

Really enjoyed the tour guide, Imma. Pick up location by the bus from the port was very hard to find and directions only arrived half an hour before the departure

The trip was very well organised and informative. Sarah, our guide was the best we have ever had. Clear precise and knowledgeable. Could be a little clearer with meeting point as difficult to find.

You pay for 5 hours and we haven't even reached 4 and a half. Waking up early to arrive at the meeting point at 8:15, to leave at 8:30 and we left after 9:00. I booked a tour in Spanish and 48 hours before they tell me it's only in English. Cristina, the guide, was fantastic 👌
