De Marrakech, circuit de 3 jours dans le désert à Agadir

Outstanding tour. Offered so much culture, beauty and insight into Morocco and the Berber community. Fees were exactly as stated with no hidden costs. The attractions were beautiful and local guides passionate and articulate. Landscape is spectacular. Camel sunset/sunrise was better than I could have imagined. Our tour guide/driver, Hakim was amazing. Knowledgable, friendly, funny, and put us at ease from the start. He also drove safely and always looked after us. Obviously passionate about his people and county. The luxury camp was beautiful, and well worth the extra money if able. Due to the number of people booking through various agencies, pick-up communications were quite last minute, but ease to follow once they came through. 5-stars!!

We had an overall great experience on this trip. Everything was very easy once we were picked up by our guide, Walid, in Marrakech and we had an amazing three days exploring Morocco, ultimately ending in Agadir. We were in a group of 9 in a large van which comfortably sat everyone. Walid (our guide) and our driver were absolutely incredible and made sure we had everything we needed for the entire three days, they even dropped us off at our hotel outside of Agadir instead of in the city which they certainly didn’t have to do. A few things to note for the three day trip: the luxury camp is well worth it, having AC made the night much easier. The drive is very long, but very much worth it and we make plenty of stops for bathroom/food/drinks. Make sure to bring plenty of cash with you to be able to buy waters, lunches, and snacks along the way (we even found some gluten free snacks at one of the stops). You’ll also need some cash for tips if you want for the local guides. There is a bit of pressure to buy merchandise from the locals but there is generally no problem if you say no thank you to anything. The only real negative we have to note is communication with the organizing company, Morocco trip, could be better. They were originally not responsive to some questions we had early on through TripAdvisor or WhatsApp, and also the night before didn’t officially tell us where our pickup was going to be until after 10pm (and also when I contacted them via WhatsApp they gave me a slightly different pickup spot than what the official actual pickup spot was) but there were truly minor inconveniences and did not take away from the experience as a whole at all. One final Thank you to Walid for everything!

1/5 – Very disappointing. We were effectively forced by the guide to eat at a restaurant chosen by him, even though lunch was not included in the excursion and we had to pay for it ourselves. I already had another restaurant planned, but we were not given a real choice or enough time to eat elsewhere. If lunch is at the customer’s own expense, the customer should be free to choose where to spend their money. This should be clearly communicated when booking the excursion.

It was the best thing I have ever booked through GetYourGuide. Our guide Mohammed was so nice, helpful, and attentive, and the driver Jamal was also totally likable and nice. We felt safe at all times. The excursions were all super organized and really great!! My personal highlight was the night and the morning in the Sahara. So, a little tip: I would recommend that everyone book the luxury camp, since you have air conditioning in the tent, the tents are generally totally beautiful, the beds are comfortable, and it has its own bathroom. All in all, it was probably the most beautiful experience. The group was great, everyone was super nice and funny; it was just huge fun! The food was always totally delicious and the first accommodation was also super beautiful☺️

Haadi was very professional; throughout the duration of the activity, I felt safe and at ease. The places we visited and the local guides were very kind; they accompanied us in discovering their culture and spirituality. The people were very kind and available for any questions or curiosity. When you book, consider that the luxury experience offers comforts such as: air conditioning in the tent (very useful), private bathroom, and Wi-Fi. We chose the standard experience and we were happy with it, considering we knew it would be a bit outside our comfort zone. What this experience left us with is absolutely worth it: the night in the desert with the Milky Way in the background was wonderful, the Todra Gorges were super evocative, and Ait Benhaddou was truly characteristic; all the stops were wonderful.

We had a great experience on this tour, Rashed was an excellent guide! The stops on the way to the desert were awesome and gave good insight on the culture. Lunch not included but pricey and not that great of food. The desert camp was very fun, music and dancing around a fire. Definitely do the ATVs at sunrise, one of our favorite parts of the trip!

In my opinion the tour was great. Only the bus rides were sometime exhausting but that's something that can't be let out

Overall experience was amazing and so worth the cost. The night before pickup we hadn’t received any communication on pickup location, but eventually they reached out around 9:30pm, something to be aware of. It would have been nice to have better communication but as soon as they pickup us up in the morning it was all smooth. I did the luxury experience with my mother, on the first day we made a few stops to see sights where we had the chance to get to know our group for the next few days, we were blessed with an awesome group of people. They stopped at a nice hotel for the night with a pool, enough time to swim and have complimentary dinner. The next day we drove again to the Sahara, there were a few more tours along the way, breakfast was included but lunch isn’t on any day. For lunch you are free to walk to a different restaurant for better prices but our group usually stayed together wherever they dropped us because it was easiest. During the windy season make sure you have a long head scarf and linen pants, there are some young kids who will wrap the scarf around you for about 10 MAD at the site. You can also buy the pants and scarf there. When going to the Sahara camp you can only bring small day packs, so make sure you pack whatever you need for the night in ur backpack because suitcases don’t go with you. The camel experience was amazing, they stopped for sand boarding and take photos for u along the way. The camp site was amazing, AC, full bathroom and comfortable beds, we just got unlucky with a huge spider in our room. Before bed they play music around the campfire. The final day you can go back to Marrakesh or Agadir, we went to Agadir and they dropped us right at our hotel. Make sure you tell your guide where you want to be dropped off day 1 so they don’t forget. Prepare for very long drives of 10+ hours. I garante you anyone can do this trip, our group had a family with a child less than 20 months old and she seemed to have just of an amazing time as I did. Our drivers Yaseen and Yahya and our guide Mohamed were amazing, very good duos and informative along the way. Took very good care of us and were very friendly.

Great tour with guided stops along the way. Camel tour, ATV drive and sunrise in the desert as highlight. Good hotel and good food. A lot of driving, especially the last day, the organizer must consider the reliability of a driver running a 12-hour session, only with short stops. Our driver Areslan was absolutely superb. The stay in the desert camp was cruel due to the extreme heat in the tent. Even with the door completely up, the air was still. It should have been a fan or an opportunity to open a window for air flow, even if it was not a luxury camp. The organizer should also set a quiet time, for all those who wanted to sleep, as there was someone who talked / roared all night long. Even though the night was uncomfortable, we would not be the trip besides and would recommend the trip.

This excursion was one of the best moments of our trip to Morocco! The program is very well organized and allows you to discover very different landscapes in just three days. The visits are comprehensive; you learn a lot about Moroccan history, culture, and traditions throughout the journey. The Merzouga desert is simply incredible. The camel ride, the vast golden dunes, and the sunsets are moments you won't forget. The views of the dunes are just amazing; you feel like you're in a movie. The night at the camp was also a very beautiful experience, with a friendly atmosphere, music, and a magnificent starry sky. A big thank you finally to our guide Mehdi, who greatly contributed to making this trip so memorable. Always punctual, professional, friendly, and full of humor, he knew how to create a lively atmosphere during the long hours on the road. Thanks to him, you never get bored in the car! His explanations, anecdotes, and good humor really made a difference. We recommend this excursion without hesitation. Thank you Mehdi for these unforgettable three days! 🇲🇦✨🐪
