Our driver Saad was very good getting us to and from our destination safely, and our guide, Ahmed had us ready for anything we need, he was friendly and if you needed anything at all times he was there.
Dear Jonathan, Thank you for your kind review. We're so glad Saad and Ahmed made your trip safe and enjoyable. Hope to welcome you again!
Had an amazing 3 day trip from Marrakech. The whole trip from start to end was full of memory making highlights. The organisation was great including communication, the transport and accommodation we stayed in. Our driver (Mohmad Amijif) was brilliant and helped make sure the tour met all expectations. So many highlights on the trip it is hard to list them all but visiting Ait Benhaddou was incredible and everything in the desert from the camels to watching the sunrise over dunes was amazing.
Dear Sunshine, Thank you for this glowing review. We're so glad your 3-day trip was full of highlights. Mohmad Amijif will be happy to hear your kind words. Thank you for choosing us!
The experience managed on-site by Ando Travel Ltd and GetYourGuide was absolutely terrible. What is included in the list for you is not entirely truthful, even from the remote support of GetYourGuide which only caused confusion by teasing us, first telling us one thing then another, the first day we looked for them having seen the terrible conditions of the vehicle and the absent guide. From the first day only the driver showed up and it was like that for all three days, we were treated like packages being shipped, we would arrive at the pre-established points, we were unloaded and we were told the maximum time we had to then be reloaded like packages, three days at 42/46 degrees on the bus for more than 10 hours without air conditioning it felt like being inside a greenhouse, on the bus only the driver so we were not informed of anything about the stops, the schedule, the times, nothing at all, I won't even comment on the hygienic conditions of the vehicle (see photo), During the trip I don't know what liquid stuff was raining on our heads or leaking from the side everywhere on the bus (see photo), the local guide in Ait Benhaddou Mohamed is not optional, it must be paid.
Unbelievable views in the Sahara, and all the way to it. We had a fantastic experience and it was topped off by our guide Saaid. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. His depth of knowledge of the country and history, as well as his enthusiasm and joking nature made the trip one to remember forever! We loved the experience, the camel ride, the awd in the Sahara (bit expensive but worth it!)! Definitely a must do - it will be hot (even at night during the summer) but would recommend this as a must do in Morocco! Thanks again Saaid!
Dear Oliver, Thank you for this wonderful review! We're so glad Saaid made your trip unforgettable with his knowledge and good vibes. The Sahara views truly are incredible. Thank you for recommending us!
We booked our tour to the Sahara with Ando Tours. Our guide was Hicham. The best guide ever! Thanks for making 3 days in Your car feel like a party! Love singing This is Afrika with you all.
Dear Traveler, Thank you so much! We're thrilled you had such a great time with Hicham. Singing along and making memories, that's what it's all about. Hope to see you again!
Hicham was an excellent driver. Some might be against booking due to the lengthy drives. However, your driver will make that 3 day drive not only tolerable but enjoyable. Ours was fluent in English and was a fun time, always being able to read the room. Wheather it was to turn off the music mid day when the group was tired or to give us the aux so we could blast our own music and sing along. I truly did not feel like a fish out of water in my first time in Morocco because of the kindness of Hicham. The tour itself is very worth it. The stops along the way to the Merzuca are enjoyable full of knowledge or photo opportunities. This is definitely a Instagram friendly trip. Regardless of the drive or stops it will all be worth it when you are in the Merzuca sand dunes. Its the most awe inspiring and peaceful place I have ever been to. I can not recommend this trip enough, and if you can request Hicham! He is such a great time and will fill you in on anything about Morocco you want to know. A added bonus is that we got back to Marrakesh around 2 hours earlier then the tour says you will be arriving.
Dear Traveler, Thank you for this fantastic review! We're so glad Hicham made your trip memorable and that you loved the Merzouga dunes. Your recommendation means a lot. Hope to welcome you again!
We recently went on the 3 day Marrakech- Merzouga trip with driver Mohammed. From the off Mohamed was friendly, welcoming and an exceptional driver. The bus itself was great quality for what I was expecting, comfortable, clean and with aircon. There were plenty of sightseeing stops / bathroom breaks during the driving parts. The hotel accommodation was more than sufficient again- for the price I was not expecting much. The room was big, clean, had air on and even a pool outside. The food throughout the trip was very simple but more than fine. The highlight of the trip was of course Zerg Chebi everyone there was super friendly and accommodating, the camel ride felt slightly rushed and pushy but once we were off it was fine and an amazing experience, there was about 3 groups of people there at the same time as us so potentially more than one sandboard would have been a good suggestion as there was a bit of a wait to use it in hot windy conditions. Overall an amazing trip with outstanding value for money.
Dear Georgia, Thank you for this wonderful and helpful review. We're so glad Mohamed made your trip special and that you enjoyed the value, comfort, and desert experience. Great tip about the sandboards, we'll share that. Thank you!
Driver: Himma was the best driver, nice and helpful Van: the van was new, with air condition, just a little bit narrow The guide: Moustafa is a nice guy, but he only told us something on the first day, I was hoping he would tell us more. Also the guide to the gorges didn't tell us much, but he asked us for a tip. The tour: a lot of hours in the van, so if you have time I suggest you to take at least 4-5 days to do this distance. If you don't have more than 3 days, I totally recommend this tour. Obviously they asked us for tips, and we were taken to places where we could buy things, but we were never forced to buy anything. The only mandatory choices were regarding meals. The desert: The desert tour was fantastic, sandboarding was a blast, and the camels are amazing! The downsides are that the tent where we ate was very hot, and that the camp is close to the edge of the desert.
Dear Arianna, Thank you for your detailed and balanced review. We're glad Himma and the desert experience made your trip special. We hear you on wanting more from the guides, the hot tent, and the camp's location. Your tips are very helpful. Thank you.
Amazing experience, and big thanks to Momo for driving us around - he has been very kind and helpful!
Dear Giulio, Thank you so much! We're thrilled you had a great desert experience. Momo will be very happy to hear your kind words. Hope to welcome you again!
We attended the tour with friends. Our driver was Mustapha Fadili, he was very friendly, kind and was supporting us through the whole trip. Excellent experience and the time was full with fun and nice conversations. Highly recommend Mustapha and the tour itself.
Dear Traveler, Thank you for sharing your experience! We're so glad you and your friends had such a fun time. Mustapha Fadili will be delighted to hear your kind words. Hope to see you again!
