De Chongqing à Yichang: croisière de luxe de 3 nuits dans le CENTURY GLORY sur le fleuve Yangtsé

This was an amazing experience! The Century Glory was comfortable and well-appointed, with plenty of amenities in the rooms and pleasant furnishings. It was more luxurious than I had expected - like a floating hotel. The food on board was excellent, with a wide range of dishes, both Chinese and Western. Traveling as a couple, we always managed to get a table for just the two of us apart from at one meal. We upgraded to the smaller 'VIP' dining room so I can't comment on the other one, but the service in ours was very good. As part of a small group of guests who did not speak Chinese, we were well looked-after by Summer, who provided professional, organised and attentive service for the duration of the trip and who spoke excellent English. There was a very good range of excursions: I especially enjoyed taking a little boat down one of the Yangtze tributaries, and attending this spectacular outdoor performance about one period of Chinese history at night. It was real spectacle, with water, horses, fire, acrobatic performers descending from on high, and a seating stand which moved around during the show. The gorges themselves were impressive, and commentary was provided in both English and Chinese. Upon disembarking, we took the option to board another ship and go through the ship lift at the Three Gorges Dam: this was astonishing and I definitely recommend it. (It was crowded, but we had been told this, and it was certainly worth it.) It was clear that the staff on this ship worked very hard to provide this high-quality service. Watching the sun setting from the deck of the Century Glory while we were docked in one of the gorges was wonderful. The only dissatisfaction I experienced was noise at night from the guests in the rooms either side of ours, which made it hard to sleep. However, I think we were unlucky with those individuals, and it's obviously a risk anywhere you go. Overall this was a great experience and I would like to thank all the staff onboard for their dedication.

I thoroughly recommend this short cruise. We had an excellent time, felt very well looked after and enjoyed being with mainly Chinese people on holiday. We sung and danced with them up on the top deck as we left Chongqing which was great fun! Our cabins were the standard ones and were very comfortable, especially the beds. Having a balcony was great. The bathroom was well organised if a little small (but we were on a boat!). We upgraded restaurants which worked well for us as it was quieter, not at all busy and the food was good. The staff were all wothout exception friendly and helpful (thank you google translate!). Excursions were very good - we had English speaking guides. We especially enjoyed the ghost town. We watched the end of cruise staff show which was brilliant especally the face changing. Great memories!

Great experience ... not to be missed. The day trips are also excellent ... but of course like everywhere in China people, people, people. Cabin and food were very fine and the staff very friendly. By the way, everything super clean.

Century Glory is a modern, luxurious cruise ship with stylish cabins and top-notch service. We booked a family room with hello kitty interior for my daughter. The staff were attentive and welcoming especially Dandan, making the trip feel special. One of the highlights was the food – every meal was delicious, with a great variety of local and international dishes. It felt like dining at a high-end restaurant every day. The short excursions were also well-organized and interesting, offering a perfect glimpse into local culture and landmarks without being too rushed or tiring. Overall, Century Glory is highly recommended

First and foremost, we highly recommend Century Cruises. My wife and I are seasoned world travelers. My business and our pleasure travels cover every continent, and all trips and cruises are always at the highest class. I mention that because our exceptions from our first cruise with Century were high. The Century Oasis is a beautiful and very high-end vessel. The rooms (in our case the suite) were beyond any suite we have stayed in on any other major cruise ship. We looked at the standard stateroom and they too were far beyond any equivalent type on any of the major cruise ships – both in size, practicality and appearance and cleanliness. Noteworthy is that the whole cruise is perfectly planned providing ample time to see the river, rest and site-see. The service was outstanding. The personal attention we received from boarding to disembarkation made us feel royal. The food was excellent. Every shore based sightseeing tour was beyond anything we experienced on any other cruise; in any many other countries we have visited. Special compliments to the fantastic Cruise Manager Allan as well to Kira who took personal care of us 7/24. Last but not least we highly recommend the Yangtze River cruise to whoever wants to experience China's heartland and expereince beautiful scenary and culture. To make the best of such a trip we very highly recommend Century Cruises ( at least on the Glory which we saild on)
