Les Grottes de Castellana, un complexe de cavités souterraines d'origine karstique, d'un intérêt touristique considérable, parmi les plus belles et les plus spectaculaires d'Italie. La température des environnements internes est d'environ 16,5°C. La beauté des grottes de Castellana attire des visiteurs du monde entier et depuis le jour de leur ouverture au public, plus de 15 millions de personnes ont parcouru ses souterrains. La visite des Grottes se déroule sur un parcours de 3 km : une excursion guidée extraordinaire, d'environ 70 mètres de profondeur, dans un décor étonnant, où des grottes aux noms fantastiques, des canyons, des gouffres profonds, des fossiles, des stalactites, des stalagmites, des concrétions aux incroyables et surprenants les couleurs stimulent l'imagination des enfants et des adultes. Les grottes de Castellana sont donc, à elles seules, une occasion incontournable d'admirer l'un des lieux naturels les plus surprenants des merveilleuses Pouilles.
Promenade en bateau d'une heure et demie pour découvrir les grottes avec possibilité de piquer une tête dans les eaux les plus bleues.

The activities do not have guides, only drivers who take you to specific places. You must remember the meeting points well. The places visited are very enjoyable; it is worth taking the tour.
Made the boat trip to the caves with Blue Wave. Truly a unique beautiful experience. Definitely recommended! (Park somewhere in the harbor, no need to park in the parking lot)

Tour was cancelled due to bad weather. Although a refund was promised directly, the money was never transferred back. It was only after several memories that the money was refunded weeks later.

We were surprised to find out last minute that we needed to make our way to Polignano a half hour earlier than the stated tour time. When we arrived at the caves we had to wait more than a half hour for our tour to begin, so why the initial rush? Once we entered the caves, it was truly a magnificent site! Know that you can only take pictures in the first room of caves. You have the choice of jumping off the tour after 1 kilometer or continuing to the white cave. It was a long walk to the white cave with not much more information to hear than in the first kilometer. It took us so long we had no time for lunch in between tours. The boat tour of the caves under Polignano was unbelievable! So beautiful! We could not get over how our boat captain could maneuver the boat into, around and out of the caves. We had not planned to swim because it was October but, I imagine swimming in those waters really adds to the tour. We were glad the boat tour was the second half of the tour.
Unfortunately the instruction when we first arrived at the Caves was not clear enough, the driver gave as tickets and said enter at 10:45 then us and another couple in the queue, he failed to tell us that this was for the English guide, when the doors opened and we entered at 10 we followed the queue, I asked the guide if there was an english guide she didn't quite understand me and said no so we did the Italian guided tour, when we got back to the driver, he informed us we should have gone in at 10:45 was disappointing. The sea part was cancelled due to rain. but we received a refund for that portion.
Fabulous tour not to be missed. The cavern views are stunning followed by the boat tour of the grottoes. Don’t forget your swimsuit for the boat tour.
