Excellent experience. Going there makes one more aware of the tragedy of the WW2 railway construction from Thailand to Burma, visualised in the David Lean film, 'Bridge On The River Kwai'
Thank you for your review. We're delighted to hear you had an excellent experience and that the visit helped bring the history of the Thailand-Burma Railway to life. It's meaningful to know the tour provided deeper insight into this important chapter of history. We appreciate your feedback and hope to welcome you again.
I joined the Death Railway and Hellfire Pass tour on 9 June and had a wonderful experience. As I booked through a third-party app, I especially appreciated the quick confirmation of my booking from the tour operator. The evening before the tour, I received confirmation of my booking along with my pickup time by 8:00 p.m., which was very reassuring and helped me plan ahead. There was a good amount of time at the museum without feeling rushed, and the lunch provided was delicious. Alex was an excellent and friendly guide. He took photos throughout the day and shared them with me afterward, which was a thoughtful touch and much appreciated. A special mention to the driver, who did a great job navigating the heavy traffic on the return journey and getting everyone back safely and comfortably. Overall, the tour was well organised from start to finish.

We appreciate your kind words.
The tour was ok overall , but it didn't quite live up to its expectations. The hell fire pass was closed during my tour which was something was looking forward to experiencing. To be fair nothing particularly special , transport and timing were fine, although the experience felt quite standard and a little underwhelming for the price. The guide was friendly , but overall it was more of an average experience than a memorable one
Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the experience felt underwhelming overall. We would like to clarify that Hellfire Pass was temporarily closed during your tour, and this information was communicated in advance on Viator and in the booking confirmation. We understand this may have affected your expectations. Your comments regarding the overall experience, transport, and value have been noted and shared with the team for review.
Our experience was very good from the moment of the pickup from our Hotel Lobby to the drop off at our Hotel Lobby some 12 hours later. Luke, our English speaking tour guide was very knowlegable about all points of interest and Thailand in general. He was easy and fun to talk with and have great conversations. The driver was very good, especially getting through the peak hour traffic. A long but very informative and enjoyable day with a great group of 7 people.
Thank you for your wonderful feedback. We're delighted to hear you had such an enjoyable experience from pickup to drop-off. It’s great to know Luke’s knowledge and friendly personality made the tour even more memorable, and that the driver ensured a smooth journey throughout the day. We truly appreciate your kind words and hope to welcome you again soon.

It's a busy day, but really interesting history and the surrounding jungle and mountains is beautiful. Not too much time in the museums so if you're keen to read more, maybe snap a few photos of the information boards to catch up reading on the bus. Bung the guide was great, had some lovely chats and learnt a lot from her.
Thank you for your review! We’re glad you enjoyed the stunning scenery and Bung’s insightful company. To maximize your experience, your tip about photographing museum boards for the journey is excellent. We strive to balance deep history with the area's natural beauty professionally. We look forward to welcoming you on another adventure soon!
