De Angra : Excursion d'une demi-journée sur l'île de Terceira (privée)
Description
Rejoignez-nous pour 3 heures de visite guidée calme et détendue de l'île, mêlant culture et belles vues, nous profiterons au maximum de ce temps ensemble, en passant par Monte Brasil, la seule péninsule de l'île, Goat Islet, un volcan sous-marin, São Sebastião, le premier endroit que nous avons peuplé en arrivant sur l'île et Serra do Cume, l'une des crêtes restantes de la plus grande caldeira des Açores ! La visite à Algar do Carvão est facultative et dépend de l'heure de la visite.

Itinéraire
Nous visiterons Monte Brasil, en passant par le cratère du volcan, pour atteindre le point de vue de la ville d'Angra Do Heroísmo, d'où nous pouvons assister à l'histoire qui traverse la ville!
Nous allons passer par Baía da Salga, où nous avons eu une bataille historique avec les Espagnols, qui ont construit la forteresse que nous aurons visitée à Monte Brasil.
Sur ce village, nous visiterons l'une des plus anciennes églises de l'île, ainsi qu'un Império, une petite chapelle dédiée au Saint-Esprit, l'un des points forts de notre culture.
Nous assisterons ici à la plus grande Caldeira (structure d'un volcan effondré) des Açores, avec seulement deux crêtes à gauche, chacune séparée de 7 km!
Facultatif, cela dépend de l'heure de la visite, celle-ci n'étant ouverte que l'après-midi. Il s’agit d’un volcan vide, il n’existe que 3 personnes de ce type, la visite est accessible, avec des marches jusqu’à monter (pas d’ascenseur). Nous visiterons la structure, en observant des formations rares telles que des stalactites formées par la silice.

Nous venons vous chercher dans tous les hôtels d'Angra do Heroísmo. Les visites qui commencent à l'aéroport, les bateaux de croisière et les hôtels de Praia da Vitória ont une taxe supplémentaire.

Paulo was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable about Terceira Island. His passion for the rich culture was evident and he was so happy to share it with us. So many amazing views, sites and information. He took us to see where family villages were, even drove to where my grandfather grew up! He made the most of our 1 day on the island! Thanks so much Paulo! I would definitely recommend him.

Ricardo was our driver and guide and he was outstanding! We got way more than our money's worth with him. He took us to the caves, lava tube, and steam vents as well as Duck Lake. The scenery on the way to and from was fantastic too. You really need to see the lava tube and Duck Lake if you are on the island. They were so memorable. Ricardo was super friendly with pleasant conversation and very informative about the island and its history. He is also a firefighter so my husband enjoyed talking to him about that. He was a safe driver and picked us up right at the cruise ship with a sign on his car. We really had the perfect introduction to Terceria and look forward to going back because of him and his beautiful island.
Paulo's low-key island charm was the high point of an excellent tour. He provided us with the benefits of a lifetime spent on the island, and we learned much about the history and traditions of this beautiful island. Met us at cruise terminal and was easy to find. Highly recommended.
