Always a pleasure in this landscape
The expérience was great. Gorgeous landscape, really long expérience more than 1h30. The guide was cool he take some photos of our groups so we can have our memories. The bad point is regarding the booker Algarve Explorer. I choose this réservation on viator si i can have a pick up. I selected it as it was written to do. They send me information of location the day before thé ride but because i already have selected a pick up i didn't opened the link of the location they send. Instead if telling me that there was ni pick up, they said nothing and sent a link to the stable. I thought it was just as information regarding the place. That was not clear at all. Si we took a Uber for the pick up chosen but no one was there. I called and fortunately they could book us a hour after. But as you can read, the title of this Booking is "horse riding WITH pick up". I PAID for it. And indeed, at the stable the price was really under what i paid in Viator. It was ok if i had the promised pick up. In conclusion, i recommand this expérience. But not with Viator (and precisely Algarve Explorer) ;) go for yourself, pay the real price and enjoy without issue because of a booker.
Pick up was on time. The horses were calm and gentle. Very suited to inexperienced riders. Unfortunately the trail was very muddy due to recent rains…….no fault of the establishment.
It was an amazing riding experience with an experienced and very nice guide, Jussie at Quinta da Sausade. If I go to Albufeira again I will book another ride in the same stable. Beautiful surroundings and great riding paths.
