Excursion d'une journée à: Volubilis / Moulay Idriss / Mekness

Description

The worst experience we have had. We booked an excursion to Volubilis and Meknes for €20 per person. When we arrived, there were six of us and another couple who told us that they paid €30 for the two of them. The worst part is that the advertisement said it was a comfortable vehicle with air conditioning. Let's see! The vehicle had all the dashboard lights on, and when we told the driver, he said it was normal. Incredible. When we were in the middle of nowhere, the van stopped, and there was no way to start it again. The trucks passed just a few meters away, and every time I tried to start it, the engine would stall again. It started to smell burnt, and there was no way to start it. Finally, it started, and we managed to reach our destination. He took us to eat at the most expensive place in Meknes and disappeared, leaving us there until 6:30 PM. Someone in the group started to feel unwell, and we called the driver to pick us up early without being able to speak with him. We called the agency, and they told us that if we were feeling unwell, it was our problem. When he finally picked us up, we started the journey back, and the van stopped again, although this time it started on the third attempt. When we arrived in Fers, we each gave €15 instead of €20 since the service was terrible. The driver called his boss, who showed up there and started threatening me that he would call the police, to which I told him it was fine to call the police, but he insisted that I get in the car with him and that we go to the police station, which I obviously refused.
For 20 eu we had an uncomfortable mini bus with no A/C, water or WiFi how it’s written in the info. Also it’s not written you must pay for the ruins Volubilis 100 dh (€10). Only cash accepted there. I had no cash as I didn’t plan to buy anything. Everywhere you are just left by your own, if something happens, you will not find your driver. The trip isn’t worth it but the places MUST SEE.
Great experience with Karim and Mustafá. They guided us and drove us, explaining things
Beautiful tour! Houssam was very kind and available He explained us everything about the places we visitated Beautiful panoramic view down the street to the sites He lets us the time to visit by our own the Medina and the mausoleum of Meknes I reccomend!
Houssam is a young boy, very kind and very knowledgeable about the local culture and the places visited. It left us free to roam freely without any stress and made sure we avoided the classic "tourist traps". Thank you Houssam!
We did this tour with Houssam. Very helpful and kind explained in short all the places visited and left us the free time needed to see everything. Beautiful also the panoramic points along the way. Highly recommended
Booked through an agency, they picked me up at the appointed time, Amen was a great driver (not at all obvious in Morocco) Maybe I would have preferred a group with more people, but in January and in bad weather it was to be estimated 😅
Ayman was a safe and cautious driver. He is also calm and relaxed. He took us to the places as agreed and was flexible about our times as we hired him to privately drive us. His car is a 4 passenger, 4 door sedan, which was comfortable and had good temperature control.
Alhamdullillah I had the best time with brother Ayman. To see all the places including volubilis, moulay Idrees, and meknes was truly spectacular. Ayman was very patient and adhered to all our requests and was very relaxing and nice and a wonderful driver. I would definitely recommend this trip.
Ayman was our driver. It was very available and punctual. We saw Volubilis, Moulay Idriss and Meknes. Too bad the rain that caught us watching the Roman remains of Volubilis. It was worth seeing them more calmly.
