Excursion d'une journée à Volubilis, Moulay Idriss et Meknès au départ de Fès

Great tour with an excellent driver and car. Worth the expense and not having to take a train, arrange for a taxi or grand taxi to Volubilis and back to Meknes.

I had an amazing day trip from Fes visiting Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes! Our guide was outstanding, providing fascinating history and local insights at each site. Volubilis was stunning, with well-preserved Roman ruins and intricate mosaics that really brought ancient history to life. Moulay Idriss was charming and peaceful, and our guide gave us meaningful context about its cultural and spiritual importance. Meknes was the perfect way to wrap up the tour – exploring the beautiful medina, historic gates, and grand architecture was unforgettable. This trip was well-organized, comfortable, and filled with unforgettable moments. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Fes!

This day trip from Fes to Volubilis, Moulay Idriss, and Meknes was fantastic! The ancient ruins of Volubilis were impressive, and Moulay Idriss was charming with its historical significance. Meknes offered a rich cultural experience with beautiful architecture. The journey was smooth, and the scenery along the way was stunning. Highly recommended!

Amine was a fantastic driver. Accommodated wherever I wanted to stop. He spoke great English and was able to answer any question I had about Morocco. As a solo traveler this trip was a perfect way to see the cities and sites. Highly recommend.

Fez is fantastic. A couple of days minimum. Meknes is being restored (January 2024) and the truth is that one day is enough. Moulay Idris is not worth it. It is a sacred place but it is attractive to secular people and I don't know how to enter mosques or madrasas. Making the trip to see them from the door is not worth it. The surrounding landscape is very beautiful. I would not repeat Meknes.

Driver was first class and the vehicle was brand new. Travelled first to Volubilis which as expected was fascinating. Well worth the visit. Then drove to Moulay Idriss Zerhoun which is a lovely little town built across two hills. Quite stunning as you approach it. Drove through the narrow streets. After that drove to Mekness where our driver/guide took us to a local restaurant for lunch. It was very good. Had time for a wander round some of Mekness but many of the major attractions were under renovation. It is good to see that money is being spent on such major refurbishment. We enjoyed our day trip and would recommend Morocco Fez Tours.

Very good experience for organizing the day with Wijdan. Granted my request to go around backwards (one of the few in Fez), responsive, clear messages, reminder the day before. The driver Mohamed: very good driver, careful, very polite, discreet, attentive, attentive to our requests, does everything to satisfy the customer. Very nice to chat with him. Magnificent Meknes, impressive Volubilis, we finally did not stop at Moulay Idriss, Mohamed had taken us to a superb viewpoint. In short, we recommend!

Volubilis is a must see, incredible experience. Meknes was busy with construction and moulay Idris not much to see. Personally I would skip that part. Our driver was very nice however vehicle's air con did not work well

Redauoen (our guide) is amazing. Kind, knowledgeable, funny, and prompt. He tailored our tour to fit our desires and abilities. His suggestions for food and photo opportunities were spot on. He was prepared for all situations, including lending us an umbrella at the site when the temperature soared.

Wonderful excursion. We were only 4 people. Driver Said very good guide, was explaining everything about the villages where we spent with good Spanish. He advised us about the sites we visited, whether to take a guide or not, and gave us his sincere opinion about the prices of the services (optional volubilis entrance, restaurants, etc.) in addition to anticipating what local people would offer us to know if it was worth it or not. In addition, before the excursion they contacted us to remind us of the place and time of the morning stay. Very attentive to customers. The guide Nourdin in meknes was the best I have met in Morocco, besides a wonderful person. I highly recommend it, it was a great day. Calmer than other excursions we did in Morocco, beautiful sites and with great history. Meknes a beautiful city that we enjoy very much even though many monuments are in the works. We were able to enter the mausoleum and see from the inside the great decoration that they have in addition to their religious significance. If I return near this area of Morocco I will repeat it! We are very grateful for the treatment we received!!
