We had a wonderful day with Daniel and Daniela. They both know so much about the history of wine production in the region, and were also a wonderful source of information about Bratislava in general. We visited two very interesting wineries, including one where we had some delicious cheese, as well as some beautiful vineyards. Would highly recommend this day trip!
Dear Michelle, Thank you very much for taking the time to share your experience. Daniel and I are delighted to hear that your winery tour was such an enjoyable part of your trip. We truly appreciate your interest in the history of wine production in our region. We are glad you enjoyed the variety of wineries, the local cheese tasting, and the visit to the vineyards. It is always rewarding to know that guests leave with both new knowledge and great memories. Thank you again for your kind recommendation. If your travels bring you back to Slovakia, we would be very happy to welcome you again. Warm regards, Daniela & Daniel
This was our first wine tasting tour and both Daniela and Daniel provided excellent guidance and showed superb professionalism. Everything went according to the instructions (pick-up point, etc) and the communication was very efficient, Daniela responded at every turn and there was no need for us to worry about much besides enjoying the experience! I definitely recommend this for people interested in Slovakian wines and its history!
Thank you so much for sharing your experience. We’re really glad your very first wine tasting tour was with us, and even happier that it turned into such an enjoyable day. From the first message to the final drop of wine, we want everything to feel smooth and effortless for our guests - so it’s great to hear that you could simply relax and enjoy. Slovak wines have so many stories to tell, and it was a pleasure introducing you to both the flavors and the history behind them. Thank you for the recommendation - and if you ever decide to continue your wine journey in Slovakia, we’d love to be part of it again. All the best, Daniela & Daniel
Our guide Blanca was wonderful! She's been doing wine tours for over 30 years and it shows. She was so nice and very knowledgeable. On top of that - the wine was amazing! We bought some to take home and learned so much about the Slovakian wine industry.
Daniela and Daniel were awesome!I had an amazing private tour with the two of them. They picked me up at my hotel in a very nice large van. The two of them were quite knowledgeable and shared a lot of insights about wine, Bratislava and Slovakia overall. The two wineries we went to were fun and very different. The 1st winery was a family winery and we had a lovely tour of the property in english followed by a tasting with cheese which was delicious. It has a super cool weather tour you can climb that gives you a gorgeous view of the area. Also, they have a wine vending machine that is super cool. The 2nd winery was in a palace more in the city center and was in a cellar with a historic museum that showcases years of wine production. There were some wonderful pieces of machinery and large barrels. Greatly recommend it!! Every wine I tasted here was incredible and I purchased all of them. On the way back, we stopped at the Modra Ceramics which was lovely and had some beautiful pieces. As we got closer to the city, we also stopped at a gorgeous vine filled area so I could get some beautiful pictures taken. It was a gorgeous area with vines and mountains. If you want to enjoy a fun wine tasting experience while in Bratislava look no further than Taste Bratislava!! 5 stars recommended!!
Dear Deya! We appreciate your kind words and the time you took to leave us this amazing review. It is a great honor for us that such a wine expert like you recommends our wine tour. Your review is the reason we love what we do! Come back anytime for more adventures!
We did a wine tasting tour in the countryside. Our driver and guide were both great fun, very knowledgeable, and showed us Slovakian countryside in a way we could have never done on our own. Do this tour for the history, views, and rural experience. The wine is just a bonus.
Dear Cheryl! Thank you for the wonderful review. We're delighted you had a fantastic time on our winery tour. Your recommendation means a lot to us!
Amazing access to the winery - private tour with the proprietor. The Via Jur palace was the stand out visit. Tom was fantastic & generous with his time. There was no pressure to move on or rush. We probably over ran by an hour as we were invited by our guide to experience the annual pottery festival in town at the end which had music, street food etc - and our driver was also happy to join us. We then got dropped at a location of our choice back in town. I would prob say you don’t necessarily need x2 guides/driver as we were just one couple - esp when everyone we met spoke perfect English and it just felt a little awkward being served wine & snacks with them sat with you & obviously not partaking I think it would work better at that point for them to give you a little privacy to enjoy. But apart from that - a brilliant day
We asked Daniela to arrange tours for three days to avoid 12 ex Round Tablers just touring the bars. Her tours included a sightseeing of Bralistalav, a visit to 2 pre-WW2 bunkers (we had asked for something military) and lastly to a winery all of which we all very much enjoyed - particularly the wine tasting . She arranged the mini bus each day and any entry fees. Daniela aslo booked restaurants for our evening meals and a bit of celebration of one of our group's birthday. She speaks excellent English and very clearly. No hesitation in recommending her.
Eva was a fantastic guide. We were picked up and looked after throughout our tour, sampling some incredible wines of the region, seeing how the wines are produced and bottled, as well as learning about the country’s history as well. I would happily recommend this tour. Thank you!
