Arrêt : 10 heures Selon l'heure demandée, un guide viendra vous chercher à votre hôtel à Assouan et vous conduira au sud d'Assouan, à environ 3 heures de route, pour profiter d'une excursion d'une journée à Abou Simbel au départ d'Assouan en véhicule climatisé. Les deux temples d'Abou Simbel, au style unique, sont considérés comme les chefs-d'œuvre de l'Egypte ancienne. Ils reflètent la gloire et la grandeur du nouveau Royaume. Le gouvernement égyptien et l'UNESCO ont décidé de coopérer pour sauver ces temples des inondations. Le temple de Ramsès II était dédié aux quatre dieux universels Ptah, Re-Her-Akhtey, Amon-Re et à Ramsès II lui-même. Le grand temple d'Abou Simbel est aussi appelé Temple du Soleil de Ramsès II. Le Temple de la Reine Néfertari est aussi Appelé Temple d'Hathor qui était l'épouse du Dieu Soleil donc de manière symbolique, les deux Temples, celui de Ramsès II et celui de Néfertari, rassemble Ramsès II, Néfertari, Hathor et le Dieu Soleil. Passez-y environ 3 heures puis reprenez le chemin du retour vers Assouan.

We did a private tour to Abu Simbel. If not visiting with a group of friends or family, I would recommend a private tour of Abu Simbel with H&M Tour. We had our guide Hussein pick us up from the hotel at Aswan. The tour was smooth and we got to spend adequate time at the temples. Post the tour we went for lunch at a Nubian restaurant at Aswan that served local cuisine. The food and the view from the restaurant was worth the money. Hussein helped us plan our tour to Luxor and back. By the end of our Aswan-luxor trip we were friends with Hussein . He takes a keen interest in Egypt's socio-political and economic condition. Being from an emerging economy myself, we had engaging conversation about our respective societies. I would recommend Hussein with H&M Tour to anyone looking at a private tour to Abu Simbel. Needless to say, the temples are splendid and it's really worth getting up at 4 am in the morning
