Enjoyed every minute of the day touring Cape Cod and Plymouth! The driver/tour guide made the trip fun and entertaining with many "trivial pursuit" type questions as well as interesting historical narrative. Sandwich was an interesting place with a storied history. The Glass Museum held many treasurers. The Mayflower II in Plymouth was informative and a good historical replica with many details from the 400 year ago voyage of the Pilgrims crossing. An excellent day!
Happy you enjoyed our tour. Thank you for your feedback!
Coach was a great guide and was very patient and helpful with my elderly aunt. I highly recommend this tour!
Thank you for your compliment. I'll let Coach know.
Our Martha’s Vinyard trip was cancelled at the last minute so this was a quick replacement tour. It did not disappoint. We went to several places we would not have seen if not for the tour such as the Cape Cod Canal museum. Loved the glass factory and its history. Coach was a very talkative and informative guide.
Thank you for the positive review. I'll let Coach know you enjoyed the experience.
Despite the rain, we had a great day exploring Cape Cod and Plymouth. The guide was very knowledgeable and looked after us very well. We stopped for a delicious lunch at Beth's bakery which was recommended by the guide.
Our countries history has always fastened me. This tour allowed me to see into a lot about the beginnings and also what we have accomplished
We're very fortunate to live in such a great nation that has accomplished so much in just a few centuries.
Coach did a great job on our tour. He was funny which make the tour a better experience. Saw great things and learned a lot.
Driver/guide, Coach was engaging, witty, & knowledgeable. He was also a good driver, but the vehicle was not large enough for 14 guests. Seating was cramped and uncomfortable. Thankful there were frequent stops that allowed us to get out and walk at the various sites.
Thank you for your review. Smaller vehicles allow us to design tours that can access difficult to access historic sites that tour buses cannot due to parking limitations. And also allow us to conduct even low volume tours with the guide accompanying the group at all times, something not always feasible with coach buses.
We were a small party of 6 on this day tour but it was an excellent trip, made possible by the stories and facts told by Richard, our driver-cum guide. He even took a slight detour to show us Duxbury and the house of John Alden. His History teaching background clearly showed his forte and together with his warmth & humour, made it an excellent outing!
Thank you for your nice review! I had an enjoyable time as well. There is so much great history to see and learn about on the Cape and Plymouth.
Coach, our driver and guide, was excellent. He picked up all of us at our hotels; he gave informative information; he answered all questions; and he treated everyone with respect. The itinerary Viator publishes is not accurate. Here is what really happened on the tour. Canal stop: 12 minutes with no time for the museum. Sandwich: Driving tour of the town and lengthy tour of a home called Hoxie house, no Grist Mill, no Glass museum, no time to walk the town, no walk on the boardwalk, just a drive-by, staying on the van, no wetlands, no barrier beach. Lunch was at a particular, good, but preplanned restaurant. Plymouth, ( a big highlight of the tour): 20 minutes on the Mayflower, about 10 minutes to see Plymouth Rock and hear the story, a drive through town to the monument, about 10 minutes at the monument. No trip to the museum, no time to walk through the town, no Leiden street. The trip did last 8 hours as promised, and Coach made the most of it, but Viator is not accurate about what really happens on this tour. No explanation was made of why so many things were skipped or shortened.
My apologies. The guide noted that the glass museum was overbooked with other tours, but I'll address the other issues promptly. Please contact me if you would like to have 2 complimentary tickets for the Lexington and Concord, good through 2025.
Our guide, Coach, is amazing and knowledgeable. He knows the places well with interesting stories. We have learned a lot about the city with its history and experienced the life of the town back in 16th and 17th century with exciting activities during the trip. We have had amazing time together. Thank you Coach for a great trip!
