La visite commence à 08h00 précises, vous serez pris en charge à votre hôtel après le petit-déjeuner et conduit au marché aux poissons de Kivukoni. Ici, vous verrez l'un des grands marchés aux poissons de Tanzanie et découvrirez tous les détails de la façon dont ils font les affaires, la vie des pêcheurs et tout ce qui concerne leur vie quotidienne.
C'est l'église construite par les missionnaires allemands en 1989. Et elle sert d'église luthérienne, cette église a une conception architecturale différente et a une bonne histoire.
Après vous vous dirigerez vers DARCH qui est le plus ancien bâtiment de Dar. C'est le plus ancien bâtiment construit par le sultan Majid Bin Said. Il a été construit dans les années 1860 Sur le chemin, vous verrez l'église cathédrale Saint-Joseph, la maison Atiman, l'ancien bureau de poste, le jardin du mémorial de guerre.
Kariakoo est le plus grand marché d'Afrique de l'Est avec tout ce que vous voulez, c'est garanti. Le marché est visité par des milliers, voire des millions de personnes par jour, vous rencontrerez donc des habitants, en particulier les petits entrepreneurs qui essaient de vendre différentes choses pour gagner leur vie. essayez de vous vendre des choses différentes et toujours de manière amicale. Ils seront toujours gentils et essaieront de vous parler, la plupart des mots seront "Mambo, Jambo" ils signifient tous bonjour, la réponse est facile "Poa" qui signifie cool.
Du marché de Kariakoo, nous irons au centre commercial de Mlimani City. Le centre commercial Mlimani est le plus grand centre commercial de Tanzanie, vous pouvez également faire un shopping rapide pour tous vos besoins car ils ont tous les besoins que vous pourriez manquer dans d'autres magasins. Ensuite, procéder à prendre le déjeuner, le déjeuner sera pris au restaurant local avec des aliments africains (buffet)
C'est la plus grande et la meilleure université d'Afrique de l'Est. Il a une histoire majeure après l'indépendance, seuls 71 étudiants ont obtenu leur diplôme et le regretté Mwl Julius Nyerere était parmi les diplômés. C'était la branche de l'université d'Oxford.
C'est ici que beaucoup de peintures, d'arts du bois sont réalisés et vendus. Plus loin, des vêtements de culture africaine, des chaussures masaï. Vous pouvez donc y faire vos achats de souvenirs. Le prix est abordable.
Terminer notre visite avec l'air frais et la brise de l'océan Indien. Après ici, nous retournerons à votre hôtel. Glory was with us. She was a wonderful guide. Very social. They showed us around Dar Es Salaam. The only I would recommend is to cut out the shopping mall if you don’t wanna see how shopping malls are over there.
Irene messaged me before we got off the ship to say her and our driver were waiting for us at the port gate. We were around 45 mins late disembarking and then had to take the ships shuttle to gate 2 where they were waiting for us as promised. The vehicle was comfortable and well air conditioned and water was provided. Irene's English was very good so we had no problem in understanding her. The highlight of the day was the fish market - buzzing with people. We walked along the beach and spent time watching the colourful locals making their purchases from the boats that kept arriving. We were taken to the Lutheran church where we climbed the clock tower for lovely views. Then we went for a drive through the chaotic but fascinating city - although sadly we could not stop as it would not have been safe to do so and windows had to be kept up to keep our cameras/phones safe. After a visit to the Mwenge carvers market (which was seriously expensive - they started off at 50 dollars for 2 magnets!!), we drove to a beachside bar to have a drink. Finally we visited a very pretty local cove. Thanks for a great day to you both and Irene, Nakupenda - I remembered it at last!!!

Plus was an awesome tour guide. Showed us everything on the itinerary we picked. One helpful hint for future travelers is to get in touch with them early to help customize what you want to see. It’s hard to decide on the first time what to see but Pius made it enjoyable nonetheless. He even helped with buying ferry tickets for the day after. Showed they really cared about having a comfortable journey/stay in Dar
