We had a really amazing tour with Austin! He gave us plenty of time in Dantewada to explore and he walked up the sticky waterfall with us the first time and offered time to do it again on our own. He gave us so much cool information along the way, including on the drive around. He really went above and beyond to make it personal. He even took photos of us and sent them to us later. We had such an amazing day. We joined last minute and are so glad we did. All admission fees were included too which was rad. We got to Dantewada earlier and had a chance to walk through before all the crowds, but as we wandered more, it did get quite busy. The sticky waterfall was also busy but there were plenty of paths to not feel too crowded.
I highly recommend this travel. I went to dantewada land of angels, and it's really beautiful! After that, I went to sticky waterfall. The guide (Austin) was really helpful, he helped me climbed up in the waterfall. He also recommended me and my friend a good khao soi place.
Our tour guide Art was great! We booked a private half day guided tour and he took photos along the way and even held our stuff at one point. He found out we hadn’t visited the Long Neck Karen tribe and added the extra stop for us. I highly recommend booking the private trip, it’s well worth the extra money. So nice to go at your own pace and have your personal photographer.
Overall great experience! Art was an amazing guide and awesome to be around! The Karen Long Neck village was optional and we are very glad we went. Very eye-opening experience.
Sticky falls was a fun activity and for a change without temples! Dantewada cafe was a visual treat. Can take amazing pics here. One feedback: this tour guide did NOT accompany us on sticky falls. To ensure safety and help take family photos, most other tour guides went along on the climb. I would confirm that part prior to booking.
I loved this experience. The beauty of peace and tranquility is amazing. Of course having a private driver and getting an early start made all the difference in the world. Ray (Rawat) was an excellent driver and guide. I would definitely request Ray for this tour. He was so knowledgeable and pointed out notable places along the way. I highly recommend this tour and starting early. I have a lifetime of memories from this experience.
My daughters and I just finished our tour with Austin. We had such a great day! The sticky waterfall was so much fun. Austin decided to start us there so it wouldn’t be as busy. This was a great choice as it looked to be getting much more crowded as we were leaving. Next we drove to Dantewada. So many opportunities for beautiful photos here. Austin was an exceptional guide and gave us extra info about the history of Thailand and helped give us pointers on navigating the sticky waterfall as well. Would highly recommend this tour!
