Sam was a great guide, very nice and helpful! Fun, beautiful (but short) trip kayaking in the harbor. Walk to sea cave was kind of hard on wobbly rocks but for younger people probably not an issue. Wear closed sneakers or hiking boots. Sam helped me when I needed it. The sea cave had water too high to enter it so that was a bit disappointing. But overall great experience.
Sam is a very attentive tour guide. He shared fascinating stories about the local wildlife and history with my kids, which made the tour so much more engaging and enjoyable. Thank you, Sam! You were amazing👍

We had a wonderful experience with Sam as our tour guide over Father's Day weekend. He did an excellent job sharing the history of Dana Point and explaining the fascinating geology behind the area's beautiful coastline. I was contacted an hour after booking to try to get me to change my booking to another day. I wasn’t able to, and Sam confirmed my original booking date. The morning of the booking, he cancelled on us.

As a small tour company, there are rare circumstances where a tour may need to be canceled due to factors outside of our control, including severe weather conditions or tour guide availability resulting from illness. Given the nature of this adventure, which involves kayaking, hiking, and ensuring the safety of all participants, I did not feel it would be responsible to guide the experience while sick. I didn't want to risk your safety, the group's experience, or potentially expose anyone to illness. the cancellation was necessary to ensure the safety and well-being of our guests and staff. We understand that travel plans require time and coordination, and we regret the disruption this caused to your visit. A full refund was promptly issued, and we made every effort to communicate the situation as soon as possible. We truly value every guest who chooses to travel with us and appreciate your understanding. We hope to have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience in the future.

I appreciate their accommodation for a single person. As a solo traveler, I was really looking forward trying kayaking for the first time. But many other kayaking tour required at least 2 people to book. Sam and Cat were willing to accommodate me. In addition, I was the only client on the day. Cat is so nice and kind. She was my personal kayaking tutor, hiking tour guide and photographer. Thank you for making my trip memorable!

Great event with Sam! We met at Baby Beach and kayaked around the harbor for an hour. After this we hiked over to a cave with some amazing views. Thank you Sam and Rifiki Tours!
