Notre premier arrêt de la journée est à Mossman Gorge, la base du parc national de Daintree pour une promenade d'interprétation guidée avec votre guide, capturant le meilleur moment de la journée pour une photo parfaite et la possibilité de repérer un dragon de forêt de Boyd ou un ornithorynque .
Notre prochain arrêt est la rivière Daintree via le canton de Mossman où la canne à sucre et le moulin à sucre figurent dans le paysage. En arrivant à la rivière Daintree, nous faisons une croisière sur la faune. Ici, vous pouvez vous asseoir, vous imprégner de la tranquillité et de la beauté naturelle, écouter les oiseaux chanteurs et rechercher l'insaisissable crocodile estuarien.
En quittant la rivière Daintree, nous conduisons vers le nord à travers le pittoresque parc national de Daintree, en nous arrêtant à Alexandra Lookout pour des vues panoramiques s'étendant de l'embouchure de la rivière Daintree jusqu'à la mer de corail et la grande barrière de corail. Le thé du matin est servi avec des muffins frais, des biscuits, du café plongé et du thé Daintree.
Ensuite, nous explorons la légendaire plage de Cape Tribulation. Les visiteurs peuvent se promener sur cette plage isolée de sable de corail blanc où deux parcs nationaux classés au patrimoine mondial se rencontrent.
Nous déjeunons dans un magnifique restaurant de la forêt tropicale où nos repas sont tous préparés et servis individuellement, suivis d'un plateau de fruits tropicaux. Après le déjeuner, vous pourrez profiter d'une baignade dans les eaux cristallines et rafraîchissantes de notre crique privée de forêt tropicale (sous réserve des conditions météorologiques et de sécurité aquatique).
Notre prochain arrêt est la propriété privée classée au patrimoine mondial de Noah Valley, où nous suivons le déjeuner par une promenade guidée d'interprétation en petit groupe avec votre guide expérimenté et nous nous arrêterons pour voir la Porte du Paradis qui présente l'une des plantes à fleurs les plus rares et les plus primitives. en existence. La promenade d'interprétation peut être effectuée avant ou après le déjeuner selon les conditions et les heures de départ.
Notre dernier arrêt de la journée est à la Daintree Ice Cream Company. En option fortement recommandée, vous pourrez déguster des glaces à base de fruits tropicaux exotiques cultivés ici même dans le verger.
Traversée du ferry par câble de la rivière Daintree pour notre voyage de retour. Asseyez-vous et détendez-vous dans le véhicule pendant que votre guide vous ramène à votre hébergement après une journée complète de visite du parc national de Daintree.

Lieux et horaires de prise en charge
Tony's Tropical Tours propose deux heures de départ à partir de Port Douglas uniquement. Le départ à 7h15 de Port Douglas et le départ à 8h15 de Port Douglas. Les deux horaires de départ proposent le même itinéraire. Une heure de prise en charge sera confirmée lorsque la réservation sera effectuée et acceptée. Si vous préférez une certaine heure de départ, contactez-nous pour voir si elle est disponible. Nous ne proposons pas de transferts depuis et vers Cairns ou les plages du nord de Cairns, la réserve naturelle de Thala Beach ou le Silky Oaks Lodge. Les clients doivent se rendre par leurs propres moyens à Port Douglas et prévoir suffisamment de temps pour se rendre au point de rendez-vous. Une fois votre réservation terminée, veuillez vérifier vos messages pour connaître l'heure et les détails de prise en charge ainsi que d'autres informations qui vous aideront à rendre votre journée plus agréable.

Memorable full day experience with Rob our guide and 9 other passengers. Starting with a spectacular Mossman gorge walk then morning tea before croc spotting on the Daintree river. A most interesting walk off the beaten track through ancient Daintree Forrest then a delicious lunch at the Wilderness lodge where we could swim in the creek . After lunch we made for Cape Tribulation where we walked along the beach. Throughout Rob explained the geology, the flora and fauna and history of the area. A most memorable day and well worth doing while you are up in Port Douglas.

We have worked hard as a team to offer a tour with some extras like staying away from crowded boardwalks and offering a private setting in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest with no other self-drivers or other companies about. A great day out with everything well paced. We were lucky with the weather (fine, sunny day) as the week before was wet. The full day does require a bit of a trek - as long as you have sensible shoes and a reasonable level of fitness you would be fine - there is some up/down paths in the bush. Take walking sticks if you have them. Guide was knowledgeable and entertaining throughout. The lunch was excellent though I felt a bit sorry for the vegetarian - the wrap and salad just did not look that appetising; the steak and fish eaters were the winners at lunch. Great boat trip on the river and saw a few crocs sunbathing, commentary was good. The company clearly values the close liaison with the first nations people which is appreciated. A good morning tea was provided with muffins and cookies, hot freshly plunged coffee and tea available and water too. Highly recommend and worth the cost.

Randel was a wonderful guide. He narrated most of the trip which was an 8-5 day. He was very knowledgeable about the area and all the places we visited. The tour took you to some incredible places. I highly recommend this tour for an overall experience at Daintree

We liked the Daintree tour but it felt way too rushed. It’s great for the “been there, seen that” experience, but not a good fit for us. We like to linger and soak in a location. We did appreciate the small group size and the guide definitely kept us on schedule. And lunch was very good. As was the ice cream.

Our itinerary is fully explained on our website, and we really do try not to rush. If you read the many 5-star reviews we receive, almost all the reviews state the time spent at each highlight in the Daintree is spot on! Of course, some guests would like to spend longer at certain locations, and we are able to do this if you book a private tour.

If I am being honest I wasn’t excited about doing an all day group tour but it ended up being a great experience - our tour guide, Ash, was incredible, the weather was good, the tour stops were beautiful, and the other people in our group were really friendly. Ash was super knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor but yet he was able to keep the tour moving. He even managed to find us a cassowary to view on our return drive! I would definitely recommend this tour if you are visiting this part of Australia!
