Overall a good experience Service was good, could improve . the traditional band and performers were excellent
I understand the crew of this ship speak Vietnamese, but if you are going to play African-American Rap music and cater to English speaking tourists, you should get an interpreter to help you understand the vulgar words these songs are “Rapping”. “I want you to f*** me”, “f*** me” and “it’s my pu***” are NOT lyrics most English speaking people would want our kids to be hearing as we cruise the river. Also there are 10-15 different companies out here at this place, many of the other ones have what I would call much better suited seating layout for viewing the Dragon bridge. I would recommend visitors go see what is available before purchasing. And one final complaint on that fact, there are MANY ticket booths prior to the pier Ticket check, why not fully explain this before we walk all over the place. I would never guess there would be 10 ticket booths outside the pier that are important….they looked like food, souvenir shops, not a place to exchange my email for paper tickets.
The company did not inform us that the ticket office had moved, we had to have our taxi driver call them to find the new location. Once on board the boat there was a power outage and then to make things worse the vessel crashed into another vessel in the middle of the cruise on the Han river.
The boat was really loud with party music on the top deck. It was hard to have a conversation. The boat was full, so you were stuck at your table. There are a lot better places to watch the Dragon Breathe fire then on the boat. We couldn’t really get a good full picture of the bridge unfortunately. Honestly, would not do it again.
Dear Kelly, thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the music volume and seating situation affected your evening. This cruise is designed as a lively night cruise experience with dinner, music and views of the Han River, so the atmosphere on board can be more energetic, especially on the top deck and during busy nights. That said, we understand that some guests may prefer a quieter setting where it is easier to have a conversation, and we will review the sound level with our onboard team. Regarding the Dragon Bridge fire show, the viewing angle can sometimes be affected by river traffic, assigned anchoring positions and the number of boats operating on the same evening. Our team always tries to arrange the best possible viewing spot while following local safety and traffic rules. We appreciate your comments and will use them to improve communication, music control and guest comfort. We’re sorry this experience was not the right fit for you, and we hope future guests will note that this is a lively dinner cruise rather than a quiet restaurant-style cruise.
It is useful, certain experiences must be tried once in life. My husband and I chose the anniversary evening on the Poseidon yacht to watch the fireworks. The food was great and the staff excellent. I wish I knew this experience sooner.
It was not a good experience. The money isn’t worth it. Food was very bad. Service bad. Nothing special about the tour. Unnecessary loud music. I wish I didn’t spend the money there.
Dear guest, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re truly sorry to hear that the evening did not meet your expectations. Our dinner cruise is designed as a lively night experience on the Han River, with music, dinner, city views and the Dragon Bridge area as part of the atmosphere. However, we understand that the music volume and food taste may not suit every guest, and we regret that this affected your enjoyment. Your comments about the food and service have been shared with our onboard team so we can review them carefully and improve where needed. This is not the experience we want any guest to leave with, as many travelers usually enjoy the dinner, entertainment and river views with us. We appreciate your honest feedback and hope we may have another chance in the future to provide you with a smoother and more enjoyable experience.
Glad we joined the Poseidon Dinner Cruise. Food was great with on-board entertainment and the cruise itself was a unique & memorable experience.
Great experience. Our boat was a bit far from the bridge though to take proper close-up photos, but it was still worth it. Thank you
Really disappointing experience. The food was already plated up before we even arrived and was sitting out for well over 30 minutes going cold and dry. Flies were landing on it which was honestly disgusting. The desserts were straight out of a carton, we watched them plate this up. Overall the food was some of the worst I’ve had. Everyone at our table left hungry. Definitely not worth the money.
Dear Ilichans, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback after your experience with us on the Poseidon Cruise with Dinner and Dragon Bridge Show. We sincerely apologize that your dinner did not live up to your expectations. We would like to respectfully address the points you raised: The dishes are prepared fresh in our kitchen and plated shortly before departure. However, due to the open-air design of our vessel, we understand that the waiting time can sometimes cause the food to cool down. We are actively reviewing our service timing to ensure dishes are served at the best possible temperature. Regarding the insects you noticed, these were winged ants (kien canh), which are seasonally common in Da Nang and are naturally attracted to the warm lights on our open deck. We have pest control measures in place, but in an open environment this can occasionally occur. We would like to clarify that all dishes are carefully covered with lids right after plating in the kitchen to maintain hygiene and food safety standards. Regarding the dessert: The caramel flan (bánh flan) is pre-made in individual portions for quality and freshness reasons. However, our chefs do not serve it straight from the carton as mentioned. Instead, they carefully unmold and plate each portion with special presentation before serving. We are sorry that the final presentation did not meet your expectations. We are truly disappointed to hear that your group left the table still hungry and that the overall experience was unsatisfactory. Your feedback is valuable to us and will be used to improve our food quality, service flow, and presentation standards. We hope to have another chance to welcome you back on board and deliver the high-quality experience you deserve. If you would like to discuss this further, please feel free to contact us directly. Best regards, Poseidon Cruise Management Team
