Interesting tour to two family run vineries. Learned a lot more about the processes involved in the champagne industry.
Bonjour Martin, So glad the visit to the two family vineyards gave you a real insight into the Champagne making process! Champagne is best enjoyed more than once, and we would love to be part of your next visit! Best regards, A la Française Champagne Team 🥂
Emilie was an excellent tour guide. She was extremely knowledgeable. We visited two small family owned houses and the champagne was excellent!
Dear Kim, Emilie will be delighted to read this! So glad her expertise shone through, and that both family houses delivered such excellent Champagne. A bientôt in Champagne, we hope to see you back very soon! Best regards, A la Française Champagne Team 🥂
Underwhelming, no commentary in the van, no indication of what we are about to see. Better use of your time would be to visit the in-town Champagne houses. Also, I accidentally booked the tour twice with the same number, day and time, which is my fault, but they did not bother to check with us until we were picked up with no chance for a refund.
Dear James, We're sorry the van ride felt a bit quiet, we are taking this on board so it does not happen again. On the duplicate booking, we really do try to catch these in advance, but it is not always possible on our end. Sorry this one slipped through. Best regards, A la Française Champagne Team 🥂
This was a perfect tour of Champagne! Our guide was very knowledgeable and champagne, the processes used to make it, and the region in general. And the tastings we were taken to were incredible!!
Dear Julie, What a wonderful way to put it! So glad the depth of knowledge on Champagne and the region came through, and that the tastings lived up to the occasion. Champagne never runs out of surprises, and we would love to share more of them with you! Best regards, A la Française Champagne Team 🥂
Emilee was WONDERFUL! The small locations we went to were intimate and the champagne tasted (and purchased) was superb!
Bonjour Lori, Emilie will be so happy to read this! Those intimate small producers really do offer something special, and it sounds like the Champagne spoke for itself, especially with a bottle or two coming home with you! Champagne is best enjoyed more than once, and we would love to be part of your next visit! Best regards, A la Française Champagne Team 🥂
