We did a Dubai trip with Thrillophilia in February 2026 as a family group, including my parents who are senior citizens, and honestly our experience was quite smooth overall. Before travelling, our coordinator Neha had already shared tentative timings and suggested how much time we should ideally spend at each attraction because Dubai distances can genuinely surprise you. Some places look close on maps but traffic there changes everything. We actually ended up skipping one optional stop ourselves coz we wanted to spend more time at Miracle Garden and Global Village instead of rushing around all day... One thing I’ll say is that Dubai looks easy to cover on paper, but once you’re actually there, you realise how packed the city is with attractions. We were honestly glad somebody else was handling transfers and bookings because planning all those slots ourselves would’ve been a headache idk how people do it on their own honestly Desert safari for us was honestly one of the best parts of the trip. Our driver Yusuf was experienced, kept checking if everyone was comfortable during dune bashing and even slowed down a bit for older people in the car. My mother usually gets motion sickness but she enjoyed it wayyy more than expected. The evening setup, performances and food were also much better than I expected from a touristy activity tbh. There were small hiccups here and there during the trip obviously, but the on-ground coordination stayed pretty smooth throughout. Even when we had confusion about pickup timings one morning, it got sorted quickly over call and WhatsApp without spoiling the day. I think Dubai itineraries can feel hectic if someone tries covering too many attractions in fewer days because the city genuinely has a LOT to do. But overall our trip with Thrillophilia was comfortable, properly managed and honestly much less stressful than planning everything ourselves in a new country. My parents are already talking about doing another international trip with them next year haha.
I hired a Spanish-speaking Guide and the Guide only spoke English and since we don't know the language when they stopped to put on their clothes we were scammed. They charged us $352 which in any trade you get in 90 The Recommendation: Don’t wear anything they offer
Tanoura dance was spectacular and sand dunes bashing was an amazing experience. Must at least once in a lifetime
Very disappointing. All the activities advertised and allegedly paid for in advance, where NOT INCLUDED, it turned out they asked us to pay extra for the Quad ride, the "short Camel ride" was a joke. It was basically a circle of a few yards, it lasted less than 10 seconds !! The dune bashing, lasted 4 minutes,.it was supposed to be an hour! No Sand-Boarding proposed, not even for an extra charge. No (free) Hanna - Tattoos offered!! A lot of "death-spare time" in between the activities, long waiting lines for each activity and food ! Extra charges for drinks are ridiculous and outrageous. 7 US$ for a can of 250ml coke, in a country/rural region where the average salary is less than 200 USD. Such a rip off. Don't fall in this trap. And book directly with a local guide, not anything online you will be disappointed...
This was an amazing day. Thank you for a great experience. Adnan was an excellent driver and guide. We look forward to doing this again with you.
