Dîner chez une famille locale

My family (parents, husband, and daughter) loved our dinner with Hugo Miguel and Rosa. They made a delectable traditional meal with plenty of drinks to go around. We had lovely conversation, and they made us feel right at home. It was a major highlight of the trip! If we are ever back on the island, we would return in a heartbeat.

We had a fabulous time sharing friendship, food and wine with Hugo, Rosa and their family. They have a beautiful, welcoming home. We felt as though we were hanging out with old friends soon after we arrived. The food was delicious and after dinner drinks looked great ( although I was the driver didn't get to share those). I would highly recommend this if your are visiting Terceira. A wonderful night!

We loved our dinner with Hugo and Rosa and their family. We had a traditional alcatra with homemade bread and dessert- it was fabulous! We hung out well after dinner to sample some of Hugo’s stocked bar! This was one of the highlights of our trip! Top notch communication- Hugo reached out almost immediately after booking. Flexibility- our vacation was impacted by weather and Hugo accommodated us on a different day due to changed travel plans. Helpful tips- Hugo provided us with helpful tips for things to see and places to go! We hope we are able to visit Terceira again in the future. Dinner with Hugo and Rosa’s family will be the first thing we book!

Amazing experience with Hugo and Rosa. It was the highlight of our trip to Terceira. I highly recommend. Food was amazing, drink was amazing, and conversation was amazing. So glad we had this evening at the end of our trip.

We had a wonderful evening with Rosa and Hugo. They are great hosts, and getting to know the other guests was very interesting and fun. The traditional food was lovingly prepared and delicious. Absolutely recommended for anyone who wants to experience the Azores authentically.

Warmly welcomed by Hugo, Rosa, and their dear children, we spent an enriching evening around a delicious and hearty family meal prepared with great care and pride. Accompanied by two charming German ladies, the exchange of experiences and anecdotes did not cease throughout the activity. Kudos to Augusto for his musical performance, and to Laura for the delicious sobremesas. Thank you very much to the whole family for the pleasant authentic experience!

Our unforgettable evening started in the kitchen baking bread in a stone oven while sipping drinks and getting to know one another. Then once the bread was ready, we gathered around the table for an absolutely delicious traditional meal served with wine, more lively conversation and plenty of laughter. We started the night as strangers, but by the time we left we felt like family! Thank you Hugo, Rosa and your talented kids for the warm welcome and generous hospitality. And, for anyone considering this experience, just do it! You will not be disappointed!

This is an experience everyone should have when visiting a new place. We were a group of 3 and joined another visitor. Fellowship, friendship and family- it’s just amazing. Rosa and Hugo welcomed us into their home and you immediately feel like you’re family. Honestly, we will visit them again. The food was yummy, the stories were fun and the laughter was plentiful. Btw, Hugo has great taste in music 🎶 They both took time to meet my mom on a video call. Again, like family. Muito obrigada por tudo e esperamos receber vocês todos em Boston - beijinhos.

We had a great night having dinner with Hugo and his family. They were excellent hosts and the food was amazing! It was lots of fun talking to them and the other couples who also went, comparing experiences around the island. 5 stars and would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Terceira for a truly local experience.
