Déjeuner de la Comtesse : Dégustation de vin accompagnée d’une cuisine Signature

As soon as I arrived I already smelled the scents of vineyards with rows where you could see the first shoots of grape leaves that were welcoming me. Lunch with a rich typical Tuscan appetizer and the excellent and professional Sommelier Cecilia who explained the subscription of wines with 🍷 food. Marinella of which I appreciated the class and the professional and personal way in making me visit some facilities related to wine tasting. Visited the new structure of S.GIMIGNANO that will open on April 1st p.v. I thank Lucia who was the first person in the company who contacted me.c I really recommend visiting these structures that have a peculiarity that others do not. To do and to give a service with love.

Lovely afternoon spent tasting delicious wines and olive oil with lunch. Enjoyed our visit to this beautiful vineyard.

We stopped at this winery and restaurant as part of a tour from Florence in May. The lunch and wine tasting was good and we decided to purchase some of the wines. We place two orders to be shipped, one to France and one to the US. When we received our order in France it was incorrect and we never received our US order. We reached out to them several times but never received any response. According to the website the items we received in France with shipping costs was a couple hundred euros less that what we were charged at the time.

We were looking for a winery where we could taste and lunch, returning from the south of Tuscany. The proposal was tempting. 5 wine proposals with 3 courses. The company is young, open for 3 years, they focus everything on marketing and acting as a "tourist catcher" (preferably foreign) because the Italian who has a minimum of experience in filming realizes just entered, that it is a beautiful theater. Room made in a "shed" (?) that reproduces in an elegant but very fake way the reality of the cellar. Nothing to take away from the staff working and the food tasted. Good, but nothing special. In hindsight, it's not worth what they're asking for. First of all. Appetizer already served at the table even before we sit down. Result a bruschetta a little 'soft and bad taste in the service. Good first course. Second, great classic, but eaten better. Speaking of wine, considering they're betting on that... Well, nothing so convincing and prices far too much, too high for quality. They didn't think they were Antinori. In short, nice proposal, but once definitely lived a flop. Economically, it's not worth it.

Such fun. Great wine. Good food. Lunch included with our tour of San Gimignona and Siena. What a value. The winery has got its act totally together. 5 Smiles!

I am holding my final review until our wine order arrives and will update then. We ordered a cooking class from Taste of Tuscany. When that canceled, this was offered as a free replacement option to include lunch. Sounded like a good deal. When we arrived, I immediately got the vibe that this was going to be almost like a “time share” pressure sales pitch to purchase wine. We advise the host that we had limited time available as we had other things planned that day. We sat down to eat and sample the wines. The food was good. Meat and cheese, followed by pasta, then beef. Actually very good. The wine samples were good and we did purchase 5 bottles. They were nearly 50 euro on the low end, and 110 euro on the high end. That’s a lot for wineries in this area. When we got to the counter to pay, we were then told it was a 6 bottle minimum to ship. That’s when I should have walked away, but I didn’t. So, $420 American later I felt a bit bamboozled. I had a feeling that would happen at the counter and it did. Our host at the table was very nice, but again, I just felt uneasy about the place. I feel like the prices were a bit high, but felt a bit compelled to purchase. Just should have said “no” when they made the final push to add on another bottle when it was time to buy (especially when they say there is no minimum when selecting at the table)

Despite the fact that the booking via TripAdvisor had not come through we were welcomed and warmly, there was quick improvisation and we have 2h a fantastic experience

Tasty Tuscany… A delicious lunch!! and pairing of wines and oils/vinegars … couldn’t ask for a better and more enjoyable experience!!!!

The food with our wine tasting (lunch) was absolutely phenomenal, one of the best lunches we had in Italy and one of the best meals we had at a wine tasting in general! Leda (our hostess) was lovely and knowledgeable and excited to share all the wines with us! She made it an exciting afternoon filled with amazing wine and food.
