Ensuite, vous dégusterez les vins de la production en profitant d'une véritable ambiance toscane. This was just an amazing and authentic experience! We went to vineyard and was greeted by the sommelier. He explained the entire process from start to finish; then we proceeded to sample his wine! Under the Tuscan sun, we sat outside and enjoyed 4 delicious types of wine and were served a variety of appetizers. If you want something real and authentically Italian, this is a great choice! Very knowledgeable experience and not far from town.
The guide, Rafaela, was very funny and knowledgeable. The host at the winery, Julia, was very versed in all of grapes, wines and olive oil. After our tour, we were seated in our small group in the vineyard for a tasting, along with charcuterie. Very delicious. Rafele sat for a bit and had more information on the winery. It was a fun environment.
Fantastic and dedicated hospitality and lovely wines. You can't get more local wine. 10 meters to the grapevines and 10 meters to wine fermentation. Top experience in Lucca.
Wonderful!! Tommaso was an exceptional guide. He chose an ancient vineyard in the hills of Lucca that is still being ran organically and produces exceptional wines. The winemaker/host was incredible. We learned so much! And his passion for the land and the wine making process was evident. As if that wasn’t enough, we dined like Tuscans under a tree on the edge of the vineyard enjoying views that lasted for miles, and the pinkest sunset we have ever seen. Tommaso served local delicacies of cheese, cured meats, and bread to accompany the exceptional wines. This review may sound too good to be true, but it all happened. And we loved every minute of it. Cannot recommend this enough! A beautiful few hours spent in the Tuscan hills drinking excellent wine in great company. There was a group of 6 of us so it was a relaxed, friendly vibe. Our guide was really insightful and fun, and the vineyard host was equally as accommodating and knowledgable. They even provided me with lovely vegan options for the snacks paired with the wine. All in all, a fantastic day out.
Excellent tour. Family business, lovely staff, done with a small group. The vineyard is very close to Lucca and the wine is spectacular. Would definitely recommend.
Picked up locally by Raffaele our guide and taken to a small family vineyard run by Francesco. We were the only 3 on the tour so it felt like we were on a private tour which was great. We were shown the vines and how the wine was made and bottled and had some fantastic food whilst sampling plenty of wine. There is no hard sell but you can buy some bottles to take home or arrange to have some shipped home. Raffaele was a great guide and recommended some restuarants and even phoned and booked a table for us. I would recommed this tour.
I really enjoyed this 3-hour Tuscany wine tour. Raffael was an excellent driver and guide, and his passion for Lucca and its history made the journey just as enjoyable as the winery visit. The highlight was visiting Cantina Biagiotti with Francesco. Hearing about his family’s vineyard and winemaking story gave the tasting a personal touch. The tasting was held in a beautiful centuries-old former monastery, where the historic building now houses both the tasting room and wine production facilities. The wine and local food pairings complemented each other perfectly. A well-run, authentic experience that I’d happily recommend to anyone looking to experience a family-run Tuscan winery near Lucca.
