Joyau du monde séfarade à Tolède. L'ancienne Grande Synagogue du quartier juif de Tolède vous séduira par sa forêt de colonnes et ses arcs en fer à cheval.
La dernière synagogue construite à Tolède. Ce bâtiment du 14ème siècle a une décoration étonnante qui le rend unique dans son style. Le musée sépharade nous transporte dans une autre époque et aide à mieux comprendre l'héritage juif dans la ville.
La construction la plus importante entreprise par les Rois Catholiques Isabel et Fernando. Le cloître est une merveille du gothique tardif. L'église est presque une autre cathédrale de Tolède.
À l'intérieur, il abrite le chef-d'œuvre du Greco : L'Enterrement du seigneur d'Orgaz. L'une des œuvres picturales les plus importantes de l'histoire qui ne peut être admirée qu'ici puisqu'elle n'a jamais fait l'objet d'un musée ou d'une exposition.
Place principale de la ville avec beaucoup de vie sociale. Autour il y a beaucoup de restauration pour manger ou boire.

He made the journey comfortable and stress-free, and we always felt safe in his hands. Our local guide, Enrique, was outstanding. Our visit to Toledo was excellent! We got a private tour to see the beautiful view of the city before starting our tour through the history of this old town. Javier was very informative and Enrique was great to work with in coordinating our trip. I’d highly recommend!

SO AMAZING! Our driver was so great and waited for us while our tour guide, Luis Miguel provided an amazing tour. He had SO MUCH local knowledge. Everyone in town acknowledged him wherever we went. We highly recommend this ever-so-personalized experience. Toledo is SO SPECIAL!

This was a wonderful tour/experience and the family agreed it was one of the highlights of our visit to Spain. Enrique was a wonderful guide who is clearly passionate about teaching about Toledo and its history, which is very rich and deep. The city itself was wonderful, of course. Having the van pick us up and take us "door to door" made for an easy day, as well. High recommended!

Picked up promptly at our hotel in a beautiful, clean and comfortable Mercedes by Roberto our driver. He was very attentive to me and quickly noted that I have some mobility issues, making sure my entry and exit from the vehicle was safe. Drive from Madrid to Toledo was as expected and timely where we met our guide Ana. We can’t say enough about Ana. A native of the city, and from a long standing family of Toledo guides. Incredibly knowledgeable, excellent English, and delightful personality. She also made sure that I was doing OK with walking and stairs, and made helpful suggestions on where to eat, rest and shop. Overall, a great day in which we learned a lot about a beautiful and interesting city. Highlight of our trip to Spain ! Highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Ana and Roberto.

A Truly enjoyable and informative introduction to Toledo. We (a group of 6 adults) arranged to be picked up at our hotel in central Madrid at 9am. An hour’s comfortable drive in a spotless Mercedes van got us to where we met the proprietor Enrique who was our guide for 3 hours (mostly on foot). Lots of beautiful cobbled streets, so wear suitable shoes. Enrique is a Toledo native and passionate about his hometown. He’s also a recognized historian and author of 3 books about the history of Spanish cathedrals. We were “lucky“ to have chosen a rainy day in shoulder season as he said it gets very crowded if the sun is out. The driver then took us back to our hotel in Madrid - all up a very enjoyable 5 hour adventure and a great way way to see Toledo from Madrid.

Enrique, our guide, was very knowledgeable and passionate of the history of Toledo. He was able to describe the intricate architectural structures and art pieces and incorporate a lot of the history with it. Our family decided to go to Toledo for a day while we were in Madrid. We booked 2 tours that day and Enrique immediately made suggestions on travel time and made adjustments throughout both tours in order to accommodate our big groups’ physical capabilities. After our tour, he also made a few other suggestions to be able to soak up the beauty of Toledo to the very end of our stay there. We did the Underground tour in the morning and the Monumental Tour in the afternoon and would highly recommend Enrique to anyone who would like to enjoy what Toledo has to offer. He even made great recommendations for lunch places in order to reserve for a group of 10.
