Découvrez la ville dynamique et dynamique de Rotterdam lors de cette passionnante visite à vélo (3h) qui vous emmène dans certains des endroits les plus emblématiques et historiques de la ville.

Itinéraire
Notre premier arrêt sera devant l'hôtel New York. Nous raconterons son histoire et son utilisation actuelle. De là, nous aurons également une vue imprenable sur la soi-disant «tornade» qui est le nouveau musée Fenix de la migration.
Nous traverserons l'Erasmusbrug à vélo en direction du quartier maritime, où nous nous arrêterons au mémorial de guerre de Rotterdam de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Nous parlerons du pont et donnerons un bref historique de Rotterdam en relation avec la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
Nous nous arrêterons dans le quartier maritime à la fontaine qui était autrefois dans le centre-ville. Cette partie caractéristique de Rotterdam vous donnera un aperçu de ce à quoi Rotterdam ressemblait avant la guerre.
Le « quartier des musées » est un lieu de Rotterdam où se trouvent certains des musées les plus importants de Rotterdam, reliés par le parc des musées. Nous ferons un arrêt près du Nouvel Institut en regardant le tout nouveau dépôt d'art Boijmans Van Beuningen, l'une des dernières icônes qui a été ajoutée à Rotterdam et le premier dépôt d'art accessible au public dans le monde! Déjà excité ?
Vous aurez l’occasion de faire une pause de 15 à 20 minutes dans l’une des plus anciennes rues shopping de Rotterdam, De Oude Binnenweg. La durée de la pause dépend de la taille et des besoins du groupe et peut être ajustée sur place. Pendant la pause, nous pouvons soit rester ensemble dans un bar à café ou vous pouvez choisir de flâner et explorer par vous-même. Ce moment est idéal pour socialiser, obtenir des recommandations, se réchauffer, se rafraîchir, ou simplement utiliser les toilettes. Veuillez noter que les boissons ne sont pas incluses.
Notre dernier arrêt avant de ramener les vélos sera devant l'hôtel de ville historique de Rotterdam.
Nous nous arrêterons à proximité sur la place devant l'église Saint-Laurent.
Les Cube Houses jaunes pourraient être l'un des sites touristiques les plus célèbres de la ville. Nous allons nous tenir devant, parler de l'histoire et prendre des photos.
La Halle du Marché (2014) a rendu Rotterdam très célèbre et est un marché intérieur moderne avec beaucoup de nourriture et de couleurs! Nous l'appelons aussi notre chapelle Sixtine moderne et vous découvrirez pourquoi!
Nous irons plus loin à vélo vers le pont de Kings Harbour, où nous ferons un arrêt et plongerons dans son histoire!

My mum & I as part of our 5 day trip to The Hague wanted to experience a guided tour bike ride in Rotterdam. Elmer was available and he offered us a private tour at no extra fee. Elmer was very thorough to check the bikes tyres were inflated & we were happy with the seat heights. We agreed not to go too fast as we were cycling near main roads. Elmer explained the route we would take & what we would see. We stopped at several points so he could give us the history at that given site. Elmer is fluent in english, and he always gave clear hand signals as to which way we were going. A great 2 hours experience and Elmer is not only an excellent tour guide, but a thoroughly nice person and we would recommend him to anyone of all ages!
This bicycle tour is a great way to see the heart of Rotterdam, and Elmo is a fantastic guide full of knowledge and love for his city. The trip includes many stops to stretch your legs so you are not sitting on the bike for long periods. The bike lanes in Rotterdam are well marked and smooth, with every intersection having signals just for bikes alone. Note that we used pedal bikes (not e-bikes), but we are in our mid-60’s and had no problems. I highly recommend Elmo and this tour for a great experience!

Elmer is passionate about the city he grew up in. Rotterdam has seen dramatic change over its history. He has selected wonderful locations and topics. He tells Rotterdam's history in a personal way, not leaving out many of the ugly truths behind why things are the way they are. But above all, his optimism for the living experiment that is his growing, dynamic city shines through in his tour. This isn't a college kid who memorized some facts (although that kind of tour can be fun, too!). It's a good guy who found a way to share his knowledge and love of his home for a living. The bike tour was an excellent experience. Elmer is a friendly and flexible guide. He shares things about the city that you won’t find in written guides. I definitely recommend choosing this activity. In three hours, Elmer takes you through all the main and important sights of Rotterdam. The ride is not demanding — it’s pleasant.
