Lors de cette incroyable excursion d'une journée, vous pourrez marcher sur le terrain même sur lequel les Britanniques et les Zoulous se sont battus. Vous serez accompagné d'un guide qualifié et passionné qui vous aidera à mieux comprendre les événements qui se sont déroulés à Rorkes Drift et Isandlwana en 1879. Sur le chemin des champs de bataille, votre guide vous indiquera des sites intéressants tout au long du parcours et vous permettra également de découvrir le magnifique paysage du KwaZulu Natal.

Vous aurez l'occasion de visiter le site défendu par les Britanniques les 22 et 23 janvier 1879. Il y a un petit musée à explorer. Votre guide vous expliquera ensuite ce qui s'est passé lors de cette journée extraordinaire!
Sur ce site, vous pourrez marcher sur le champ de bataille où, le 22 janvier 1879, l'armée zouloue est descendue sur des positions britanniques non préparées et a détruit le camp britannique.

We had an excellent tour with our guide Sheldon. He was very knowledgeable and very articulate. The sites were amazing and the trip comfortable. The day tour was definitely a highlight of our trip ! I highly recommend this tour.
A brilliant insight into a part of British history. Our tour guide had knowledge and background details that were fascinating about both of these famous and infamous battles. Amazing stories of heroism and giving an insight into Colonial mentality and also the Zulu world. I would encourage anyone interested in history to take this tour. It might be a long drive there and back but not to go then you would live with regret.
Very long day. Brilliant driver. Unmade roads very muddy and slippery. Got stuck a few times. Excellent knowledgeable guide Mariete.
An amazing experience with a fabulous guide. Sheldon had a wealth of knowledge and was always happy to answer any questions we had to ask.we were lucky enough to have him all to ourselves on this particular trip. You could tell that he truly loved his job through the enthusiasm that he showed us. A long day , but we always knew that, so prepared ourselves for it

Absolutely brilliant! Shelldon is an outstanding teller of history who brought to life the buildup and events of those two days in January 1879 at Isandlwana and Rorkes Drift. Best of all, he was able to debunk some of the myths crested in those two great movies, whilst simultaneously maintaining an objective and dispassionate view of the causes, events and aftereffects. It's a long, 12 hour day but very much worth the effort and almost certainly a once in a lifetime experience.

Excellent day. Extremely informative and knowledgeable guide. Even though long drive to destination, time passed quickly. Highly recommended if you are interested in African history.

Sheldon had so much knowledge he was a pleasure to listen to. It was a very long day but well worth it. We had coffee and a toilet stop in the way there and back, coffee was good and the facilities were clean. We had a chicken wrap at Rorkes Drift which was lovely. Thoroughly enjoyed the trip and very glad we decided to go, money well spent!
