D'Angra: Excursion d'une demi-journée sur l'île de Terceira (visite partagée)

Rejoignez-nous sur 3 heures de visite calme et détendue de l'île, mélangeant culture et belles vues, nous profiterons de ce temps ensemble, en conduisant par le Monte Brasil, la seule péninsule de l'île, Goat Islet, un volcan sous-marin, São Sebastião, le premier endroit que nous avons peuplé en arrivant à l'île et Serra do Cume, l'une des crêtes restantes de la plus grande caldeira des Açores! La visite à Algar do Carvão est facultative et dépend de l'heure de la visite. Un minimum de 2 participants est requis pour cette activité

Itinéraire
Nous visiterons Monte Brasil, en passant par le cratère du volcan, pour atteindre le point de vue de la ville d'Angra Do Heroísmo, d'où nous pouvons assister à l'histoire qui traverse la ville!
Nous passerons par Baía da Salga, où nous avons eu un combat historique avec les espagnols, qui ont construit la forteresse que nous avons visitée à Monte Brasil
Sur ce village, nous visiterons l'une des plus anciennes églises de l'île, ainsi qu'un Império, une petite chapelle dédiée au Saint-Esprit, l'un des points forts de notre culture.
Nous assisterons ici à la plus grande Caldeira (structure d'un volcan effondré) des Açores, avec seulement deux crêtes à gauche, chacune séparée de 7 km!
Facultatif, dépend de la date/heure de la visite. Veuillez consulter l'horaire ici (http://www.montanheiros.com/algarcarvao/). C'est un volcan vide, il n'en existe que 3 de ce type, la visite est accessible, avec des escaliers tout le long (pas d'ascenseur). Nous visiterons la structure, témoin de formations rares telles que des stalactites formées de silice.

Nous venons vous chercher dans tous les hôtels d'Angra do Heroísmo. Les visites qui commencent à l'aéroport, les bateaux de croisière et les hôtels de Praia da Vitória ont une taxe supplémentaire.

We recommend this trip. We saw amazing sights and got a real feel for the island. Loved the goats and all the rock walls. Do this, you won't regret.

Definitely recommend! Rui (our guide) was great. Knowledgeable about the all the sites we explored and also so interesting to learn about traditions and culture of the island from him. We were only on Terceira for a short time during a layover so this worked well for us to be able to explore as much as we could in a short timespan. We hope to visit again.

We had a great tour. The guide was very friendly and knew a lot about local history and traditions. We visited many great nature spots and even a local wine producer. Amazing experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful island. Loved the cows. Cows everywhere! Stepping back into a much quieter but lovely place. Bus driver took us thru some very tight roads.

Catarina was the best! I started my trip with flight delays. I was able to switch my pick up to the airport on short notice, and the company was great about it. Catarina met me at the airport and gave me a tour of the island. I felt like I was able to see so much during our tour (from scenic overlooks to cheese tasting to Algar do Carvão). Catarina was so nice, really loved the island, and was able to teach and show me so much. It was a great way to start the trip. I highly recommend!
Nuno was a very pleasant guide for our excursion to the island of Terceira. We saw beautiful views, but what was breathtaking were the “beaches” formed by lava from the nearby volcano with a lunar landscape and many small natural pools. Nuno was very good, competent and accompanied us on this excursion with all his sympathy
We had a most enjoyable & relaxing Guided Tour with Ricardo. He met us at our Cruise ship and drove us throughout the area, stopping at many gorgeous sights, and sharing with us the History and Culture of this beautiful island, including some personal history. Our small 3 person group included a former Terceira Resident of 60+ years ago, and the conversations with Ricardo were the best - we all learned something! We went to a small café where we had delicious local pastries & coffees! This is a great Tour that should not be missed by anyone visiting Terceira, and request Roberto as your guide!
