Évitez les bus touristiques bondés et les groupes de touristes lents avec un chauffeur privé pratique pour vous emmener aux célèbres guerriers en terre cuite. Retrouvez votre guide local à 8 heures du matin dans le hall de l'hôtel. Vous y découvrirez 7 000 guerriers en terre cuite grandeur nature, tous en formation de combat réelle, qui ont été enterrés sous terre pendant plus de 2 200 ans (durée de visite recommandée : 2,5 heures avec beaucoup de marche plate). La visite du musée comprend trois fosses originales, la fosse 1 comme force principale, la fosse 2 comme troupe flexible et la fosse 3 comme centre de commandement. Il y a également une salle d'exposition pour différentes expositions de temps à autre. C'est certainement un trésor pour étudier l'histoire de la première dynastie de Chine, la dynastie Qin.
Les remparts de Xi'an sont les seuls remparts intacts conservés en Chine et constituent aujourd'hui le point de repère de Xi'an. D'une longueur de 13,74 kilomètres, les remparts ont une forme rectangulaire et constituent un système de défense parfait. En montant les remparts, on peut voir les douves, la tour de flèche, les tours de guet et le système d'évacuation des eaux.
La pagode géante de l'oie sauvage se trouve dans le temple Da Ci'en (temple de la Grande Miséricorde). C'est une pagode dont l'histoire remonte à plus de 1 300 ans. C'est ici que le célèbre moine de la dynastie Tang Xuanzang (Tripitaka) a traduit les écritures bouddhistes, et c'est ici que la propagation du bouddhisme en Chine a également commencé.
La plupart des musulmans sont arrivés à Xi'an par la route de la soie sous la dynastie Tang (600-900 après J.C.). Ils ont étudié, travaillé et se sont mariés avec la population locale et se sont installés ici jusqu'à aujourd'hui. Dans cette région, vous verrez beaucoup d'épices étrangères, de nombreux restaurants musulmans et quelques souvenirs également.
La dynastie Tang (618AD à 900AD) est la dynastie la plus prospère de Chine et riche en musique, calligraphie et peinture. Ce spectacle du soir (de 19h30 à 20h30) est dirigé conformément à la murale des tombeaux de Tang. Les costumes colorés et la musique en direct avec un instrument de musique ancienne et une danse classique vous permettront de mieux comprendre l'ancienne culture Tang. Ce spectacle culturel musical d'une heure sur la Route de la Soie vous emmène dans l'histoire de la Route de la Soie dans le désert avec une histoire touchante. En tant que point de départ de la Route de la Soie, Xi'an conserve encore de nombreuses épices et cultures introduites aujourd'hui des comtés arabes. Ce spectacle utilise des sièges pivotants à 360 degrés et une scène avec sept scènes différentes. Il met en scène 20 chameaux et chiens-loups, ainsi qu'une cascade de deux mètres de haut. Au moyen de techniques de haute technologie et artistiques, il dépeint la sagesse et les difficultés du peuple chinois ancien lorsqu'il a mis le pied sur la Route de la Soie.
Ce palais a toujours été le palais impérial d'hiver pendant plus de 3000 ans car il dispose de sources chaudes naturelles. Il y a encore cinq bassins de baignade de la dynastie Tang préservés ici. Vous pouvez y voir l'architecture de la dynastie Tang, de beaux bonsaïs, des plantes et des étangs et des compositions paysagères. Vous pouvez également voir les impacts de balles de l'incident du Double-Twelve en 1936 dans l'histoire moderne de la Chine.

The full-day adventure was excellent. Our guide, Wendy, and driver picked us up from our hotel and everything was handled from beginning to end. Wendy has an great energy and deep knowledge of the sites. She was very receptive to all our questions. During our tour, a member of our party had a health issue that required extra attention. Wendy was very helpful and patient. She knew the sites well and was able to arrange for a wheelchair and places to rest until we could return to the vehicle. We were all very grateful for her thoughtfulness and experience. Would highly recommend her services.
A wonderful visit to a wonderful city! In just one day, we got to experience all the must sees of Xi An, including the great terracotta warriors. Wendy, our guide, was very educated and experienced, and absolutely charming throughout the whole journey. We even got insight on the local cuisine, and had lunch at a famous “biang biang” noodle restaurant, that was delicious. We definitely recommend for all wanting to discover the beautiful city of Xi An!

We had a great day with Wendy, after being recommended by a friend who did a tour with her last year. It was easy to organise with great communication through WhatsApp. The day was very relaxed with no time pressure at all. We were very glad we took the tour as it added a great deal to our understanding of the history and context of both the sites we visited, but also in the car and over lunch, of modern China. We were also very grateful for her recommendations for restaurants and massage spots in Xi’an which all proved to be exceptional and helped make our trip to Xi’an that much better, (And for helping us get some laundry done!) Wendy has a great approach, manner and excellent knowledge so we happily recommend her.
