This tour was exceptional—well organized and thoughtfully designed to take you beyond the usual tourist spots and into authentic local favorites. Every dish we tried was delicious, and many were things we never would have discovered on our own. In a city where food safety can be a concern, I really appreciated the guide’s careful selection of reputable vendors and the hand sanitizer provided at each stop. Highly recommend!

Fluor was a great tour guide! She was able to accommodate gluten free diet. Tour was very informative and fun! We left the tour super full so be ready to eat! My favorite part was picking the fruit at the market and then eating them all at the end of the tour.

Sonya was terrific. Lots of local insights outside of Peruvian food topic. Highly recommend. We really enjoyed the historical information she shared as well.

This was a fabulous tour. We went to so many little gems that we would have walked right past without knowing. We also went to several personal vendors and tried so many new things. Come hungry because you will eat A LOT!

Wow, what an AMAZING tour! We only had Sunday available, so the team worked with us to schedule a private tour outside of their regular schedule. Guide Lizbet was absolutely wonderful and showed us so many spots and foods all around the city. We loved wandering the markets and street vendors tasting and learning all about Peruvian food culture. We tasted a great variety of foods, from tamales to fresh fruits, papas rellenas, drinks, and more. We also loved the great suggestions on what to buy to take home with us. They took great care to make sure that everything was safe and clean for our delicate American tummies. When they say come hungry, they mean it. We were absolutely stuffed! This tour will for sure be a major highlight of our trip to Peru.

If you’re looking for an exceptional food tour in Cusco, I highly recommend the one led by Flor. She was a fantastic guide who made the experience both fun and educational. Flor’s excellent English made it easy to learn about the local cuisine, and her knowledge of the area was impressive. We had the opportunity to meet local restaurant owners, taste a variety of native fruits that aren’t available in the U.S., and explore the rich flavors of Peruvian food. One of the highlights of the tour was a visit to a family-run coffee bar that had won the award for the best coffee in Peru. It was a unique and unforgettable experience, and Flor’s passion for her country and its culinary traditions truly shone through. If you’re in Cusco, don’t miss this tour with Flor!

This was a great way to start our trip to Cusco. Sonya was fantastic!! The tour combined food and history at each stop while helping us get our bearings of the city. Near the end Sonya shared some suggestions of things to see and do and some tips (like where to buy high quality alpaca wool items. We highly recommend the tour!
