This is an amazing trip and well worth visiting. Our guide was a little hard to understand but all in all it was well worth the visit. There is ‘a surprise’ during the trip which is quite mind blowing. You descend 72 steps which is fine but Jet 2 rep did not mention the stooping over quite a bit to get through at parts. Dreadful for a back sufferer! Great the way there are coffee outlets en route. All in all though a great half day trip.
The tour of the caves and lava tubes is very good, and the landscape is incredibly refreshing. The bilingual guide (English and Spanish) spoke very quickly, so one must be attentive… we learn about the history of the island and how the landscape has been shaped over the millennia.
Spectacular places! However, I regret the guided tour; the guide spoke far too quickly, whether in English or Spanish, to be fully understandable for a French person who does not speak fluently. No pauses in his delivery despite his mastery of the subject; unfortunate for us!
Interesting excursion. Guide friendly and knowledgeable. Explanations in 3 languages (as we were forewarned) although this didn't reduce the enjoyment. Wear sturdy shoes and not appropriate if you have difficulty walking. Sufficient time given to each cave.
The experience was great but the host needed to speak a little slower when describing things and you need to be mobile to get around the caves
We had a fantastic day on this trip and loved every minute of it. The cactus gardens were very unique and lovely to see. We enjoyed all the stops and the tour guide was very informative and helpful. Couldn’t recommend this tour enough. The caves and viewpoint were stunning. It was great value for money.
Smooth and efficient organisation on this half day tour of the volcanic caves. Andre our guide was polite, knowledgeable and good fun. Would recommend this trip highly as it gave us a unique insight to the unseen side of Lanzarote. Remarkable caves mysteriously and beautifully presented.
Very nice excursion. Guide calls us and waits for us at the bus boarding and alighting. He is friendly, attentive to the group and rich in explanations. Sometimes we pass a little too fast in some parts of the cueva verde because time is limited. A little pity but understanding considering the number of tourists and tourist coaches. As for jameos del agua , top and adequate free time.
I brilliant mini tour of Lanzarote. Both stops were great, the tour guide was very helpful providing us with lots of information. Beautiful views.
A lot of time on the coach driving about. The caves were interesting but we arrived early so we're stood out in the sun told 10 min wait, 10 mins elapsed then told another 10 min. No shade and couldn't get on bus. Didn't really learn much about the caves to be honest. This could be due to being a multilingual trip the guide would be speaking for a good few mins 1st in Spanish then when it comes to English all the Spanish are talking over her. Then when it got to the German part they had no chance of hearing as everyone else was talking about what they had heard. 2nd stop was a bit random to see how this tunnel had been adapted, however due to the time of arrival no seats were available down by the bar as reserved for a group, no food was available and after short period of time no drinks either. Walked past the pool with the crabs then up to the gift shop and back to bus. No explanation really of the place. Finally on the way back took a scenic route to see a view of the sea. Plus side was my footrest worked on the coach whereas most others wire zip tied up. I'd probably recommend a full day trip including timanfaya.
