Douane construite à l'origine en 1889 au coût de 38 346 £ par John Petrie & Son. Il était à l'origine utilisé pour la perception des droits de douane et a été ouvert en 1889
Le Story Bridge est un pont en porte-à-faux en acier classé au patrimoine qui enjambe la rivière Brisbane qui transporte des véhicules, des vélos et des piétons entre les banlieues nord et sud de Brisbane, Queensland, Australie. C'est le plus long pont cantilever d'Australie. La route qui traverse le pont s'appelle Bradfield Highway. Le pont relie Fortitude Valley à Kangaroo Point. Le Story Bridge a ouvert en 1940 et a été péage jusqu'en 1947.
En descendant la rivière, nous traversons la ville et voyons tous les monuments historiques et modernes.
Southbank est un lieu très populaire pour les habitants et les visiteurs. Les plages artificielles et les lagunes de baignade sont très populaires. The river breeze was pleasant, and the staff were friendly, but the historical riverside buildings they explained were not really worth seeing. The so-called “morning tea” was nothing fancy—just a self-serve paper cup of coffee or tea and a small supermarket-style cupcake. For what it offered, the price was far too high. You’d be better off taking the same route on the CityCat ferry for a round trip. 川風は気持ちよく、スタッフもフレンドリーだったが、説明された河岸の歴史的な建造物も大して見る価値はなく、「モーニングティー」と言う大袈裟なものはなく、ただの紙コップのコーヒー又は紅茶とスーパーで売っているような小さなカップケーキ一つがセルフサービスで受け取れるだけ。この中身にしては料金が高すぎる。同じコースをシティキャットのフェリーで往復すればよし。

Some of the narrative seemed out of synch with what we were looking at and the audio was poor quality at times - otherwise it was great 👍🏼
Thank you for your feedback, we really appreciate it. You’re absolutely right about that one point in the commentary. The section about the Yungaba Immigration Centre currently triggers around 30 seconds too early, just before the building becomes visible. We’re already working on correcting that timing. We’re also reviewing the audio quality to make sure it’s clearer throughout the whole trip. Our crew do check in with guests during the cruise, and each area of the vessel has its own adjustable volume zone. Sometimes we raise or lower the volume for different guests based on their preferences, so a quick readjustment is occasionally needed. If the audio is ever too loud or too soft where you’re seated, a quick mention to the crew allows us to adjust it straight away — those small tweaks can make a big difference.
