A huge disappointment. This river cruise basically travels alongside the docks, which are stacked with containers. It then turns about and returns. Apart from going under a bridge (highway), that’s it. The guide did his best, but little of interest to talk about.
I saw the mediocre reviews online, and went ahead with booking this tour. I was not disappointed at all! The boat proved very comfortable despite it being unreasonable hot outside. The boat was air conditioned. The bathrooms were clean. The boat guide demonstrated friendliness and knowledgeable while explaining what we were seeing. I would absolutely encourage others visiting Montreal to partake in this 1 1/2 hour tour.
We booked a 90 minute tour cruise- Easy to find, friendly staff, plenty of seating options- The guide spoke too fast and the speakers were too loud, and our trip was only 60 minutes.
Vessel was warm and stuffy. Extremely poor service. Very impatient. After calling and e-mailing to ensure dietary needs could be met, server was lost as to our request. Shaved parm is not vegan. Not sure about gluten free offering. May or may not have been. Had to wave down server for water refill. He then set the bottle on the table grasping the top of the bottle, so anything he had on his hands washed into your glass. No coffee refills until just about ready to dock. Bring earplugs. Speaker volume was painfully loud if staff picked up the mic to recognize anniversary, birthday, etc. Fortunately, fireworks music was ok. Would recommend looking at other operators.
The boat was very comfortable, access was easy, and the staff were very friendly. However, if you are expecting some kind of sightseeing tour of the St. Lawrence, this is not that. It was 90 minutes on the water on a lovely day with our “tour guide“ pointing out large buildings like the Molson brewery and a bridge and an amusement park. I would not recommend.
I ordered a snack (nachos) and a ginger ale; waitress informed me AFTER delivery that the guac was frozen and wasn't included on the plate! No apology given or adjustment in price
Fantastic way to spend an afternoon on the water and learn about Montreal. Loved every minute of it.
Wonderful informative tour. Our guide was amazing. He was such a personal person. I would highly recommend tour to anyone.
Nice boat ride and rhe alcoholic drinks are very good. The food choices are very limited and not worth the price, just pizza (salami and pepperoni only) and nachos (no beef!).
Our initial time was 11 o'clock. When we got there, that trip had been canceled with no notification. We rescheduled for the 1230 tour and had a great time. I just feel we should've been notified of the cancellation.
