Cette excursion privée de 2 heures en après-midi nous emmènera à Port Royal Sound (généralement le meilleur vent pour naviguer sur Hilton Head) sur le côté nord de l'île. Pendant la journée, c'est généralement rempli de vents excitants pour une grande navigation ainsi que de beaux paysages et de la faune comme les dauphins, les oiseaux, les raies pastenagues et les lamantins sont quelques-unes des grandes choses que nous voyons très régulièrement. Il s'agit d'un voilier monocoque, ce qui signifie qu'il va guérir (tout à fait normal mais très excitant - conçu pour ne pas basculer !). Tout cela sans le bruit du moteur à l'arrière - nous aimons naviguer et non naviguer à moteur !!! Nous voulons que notre invité soit très à l'aise à bord de notre navire connu sous le nom de "Knot the Office" et donc si quelqu'un est mal à l'aise avec la guérison, nous pouvons réduire considérablement la guérison pour nous assurer que tout le monde est à l'aise. Captain Andy and Mikala were friendly, knowledgeable, a fun to be with. We had a great time! The boat was clean and well kept. We highly recommend them!
This was our second time with Anchors Away. We had a fantastic, relaxing time on the sail boat! Captain Paul, Dave, and Mikaela took great care of us and made sure we had a great experience! Good conversation and stories with the crew. We also saw a Manta Ray jumping out of the water. Thank you for a wonderful trip! We will definitely do it again the next time we're in town.

Master Captain Paul and David provided just an OUTSTANDING and fun-filled afternoon of sailing on Seas the Moment in Port Royal Sound for the three of us - plus the added bonus of learning first-hand about the local sea life around Hilton Head Island. The boat was immaculate and you can tell immediately that Paul takes great care and pride in it. We can't express what a wonderful and relaxing time that we had - especially enjoying the dolphin swimming playfully alongside the boat. This was our first experience using Anchors Aweigh Sailing Charters but can guarantee that it won't be our last! Thank you Paul and David for making it such a special day for our family.

This was supposed to be a sunset cruise, but the weather did not cooperate., Fortunately, Anchors Away got use a delightful sail in Port Royal Sound ahead of the weather.

Our family had a great time this afternoon on a two hour dolphin watch sailing tour. We saw two pods of dolphins, one was diving for food. My 12 year old was particularly excited to see what she thought was a young dolphin. Captain Paul had great stories about local wildlife, and was knowledgable about their habits and behavior. He was clearly familiar with recent animal behaviorist studies, which my geeky homeschooled kiddos loved. My family had never been sailing, and were a bit nervous, but Captain Paul was on top of the weather forecast and demonstrated his experience with easy competence. Even though we had some pretty still moments in the water, we were well entertained with conversation, and my interested teens were able to help move the sails.

My husband and I have taken quite a few sailing charters in different places and this was our favorite one. The boat was gorgeous! Very comfortable and immaculately clean. Captain Paul and David were obvious experts at this and educated us on the scenery, animals, the weather and sailing. We had the treat of seeing a bald eagle fishing right beside us! Even the marina they’re in is quiet and well kept. Look no further if you’re looking to charter. Highly recommend. We definitely plan to do again next time we’re in town.
